It's not a sound like a dry joint that needs a shot of lube. The closest description is an old v-belt on a car that is chirping or slipping a little under load.

I have a 2014 RT Ltd with about 13,000 miles on it. I am currently on a 4000 mile trip and am experiencing a squeaking sound that is steering related. When I am stationary or moving very slowly in a...
Great timing. I also just noticed the change in the wheels. My 2014 RT has the 3 spoke wheel while my 2015 RT has the 6 spoke wheel. Just when I got it down to a science changing the tires on the...
I am in Mentor also with two Spyders.

Not sure how these can be referred to as "throw away items"?? I have no need for the "NEW" air vents on a 1330 equipped bike. Not sure I understand the poster's comments on this. These adjustable...
A purchase has been made and the parts are on the way! Thanks to all.

I am looking for the frosted adjustable wind deflectors for an RT Ltd. I know there were a bunch of these removed when the heat fix was done on many of the bikes. I have the clear fixed ones now...
I cut the old clamp off with the Dremel, seated the hose fully onto the pipe and used a quality worm clamp. Seems to have stopped the drip. Time will tell.

As can be see in the attached pic, I have a very small coolant leak under my 2014 RT. Do you think cutting off the existing clamp and replacing it with a quality standard clamp would be the proper...
I know. The choco milk is never a good thing. I hope it is just water from the roadway that had mixed with the oil to make that concoction. I removed the large hex cap in the center of the cover,...
The attached pic is of the left side of the engine on 2014 RT Ltd. Is is covered in oil and the two bottom screws have apparently had enough oil and other fluid mixed in for them to be covered in...
Where is the ABS module located and does it have a standard bleeder screw?

I have searched and read until I am almost blind, but can't find the answer to my question. I see that many people are using the General Altimax RT43 tire as a replacement for the rear. Does anyone...
Does anyone have the list of affected VIN's? I am wondering if it would do any good to pull the sensor of my my 2015 RT to see if there is any moisture inside???

Not even with my Harry Potter wand! LOL. 😃
A toyhauler is the only way to go! Mine is 44' long with a 17' garage. I can get both Spyders in there and still have some room left over.

I second the Scorpio alarm system. I have one on each of our RT's. The proximity sensor does the trick of allowing folks to get close enough for a look, but not too close. If they stay too close,...
Tom,
Sent you a PM on the sale of your pipe.

My wife has a 2012 RT Ltd. and her right front speaker is blown. It is a 90 minute drive to the dealer so I figured it would be easier just to replace the speaker myself...that is until I saw the...
We made it a well. 870 miles and Zero issues. Staying at the Drury Inn (can you say three free drinks and hot snacks in the lobby?). Go ahead...says it real fast and see what it sounds like! :)
Well, I guess I am going to have to run it set tighter than spec. I backed my tension down to minimum spec and started test driving at freeway cruising speeds. I kept stoping and adjusting it tighter...
What did they change in 2013 to allow for the heavier tension specs? More robust bearings? And is there any way to tell if my belt has been stretched unevenly? I am wondering if I should just...
Bump.
I have a 2012 RT Ltd that recently had the belt tension adjusted/set by the dealer to try and address a vibration issue. The work they did took care of the vibration, but when I checked the belt...
Lamont,
What do I need to do to get on your list to have an alignment done at your shop? You did such a great job on my new '14 that I was hoping you could also do my '12 that I will be bringing to...
Will do. I am sure I have one around here somewhere, just have to dig through the "parts department". Thanks.
Wouldn't that be a resistor across the coil? If my memory serves me, shouldn't it be somewhere around 650-700 Ohms to provide some suppression?
I agree that this doesn't make any sense. I have done my share of wiring having unfitted police cars and ambulances, but this is just stupid! It is 4 stinkin wires that apparently don't want to...
Some additional info: I removed the Stebel horn completely and left just the relay installed. This is triggered by the two factory horn wires. With only the trigger wires connected to the relay, I...
