What are you using for oil? When you check that belt for missing knobs, check the front pulley for red rust. It may be time for a clutch job. :dontknow: Hard telling without seeing it.
Or a tighter hose!
All you need to do is to get the right coupling to hook on to your hose coming up from your bag and grab the pipe that is coming out of the Schraeder valve, coupling them together; then put about...
Harbor Freight should be your friend, if you have one!!:2thumbs: just saying!!
What are you really trying to end up with? You said it road to hard for you I thought. I guess what I am trying to ask is what do you not like about the Ryker? Then maybe we can help. Spill your...
It sounds like you already have a GOOD brake tool. Time tested!!!:2thumbs: Good job!!!
If by chance you like the platform of the Ryker and don't like the ride, you could spend a few bucks and make a shock change. Go to, or call someone that specializes in that and ask them some...
:clap::clap:
You say it's lurches when it downshifts on its own, I would have to say that's not normal, and if it was me maybe I would take it to the shop and have it checked out, or find a friend that has a...
:roflblack: Your postman must love you at this time of year!! Christmas in April, all over again. Farlkes everywhere!!:2thumbs: Hope mine come soon.:ohyea:
If you can keep it running, I would try running a couple of tanks of injector cleaner thru it. You may have some water in there, or an injector getting plugged up. I had it happen to me one time, on...
:agree: LOAD TEST them!!! And go through all of your cable ends to make sure they are clean and tight on both ends!
You have to firmly push and turn the puck!!! I don't know where you read you have to apply the brake, but that is the last thing you ever want to do. If you don't have pads in there it will allow the...
I have been driving mine out in the countryside in 4th gear most of the time, and using my 5th gear like overdrive! That keeps RPM's mostly in the right place.:dontknow: Been working for me!
I was starting to download all the sponsors websites to my favorites that I use. Something that I never worried about with the site in working shape!! Glad you guys are back!!!:yes:
:dontknow::chill:
I hope you have it fixed for good!!:2thumbs:
I don't know about that, we have been bashing the tires for years and all they did was call it a different name!
Harbor Freight has your tool bag waiting for you at half the price!:2thumbs:
Reach up there every now and then and see if the bearings are starting to feel rough when you spin them, you'll know when it's time. If it's right after a ride they feel warm, but they should never...
I somehow knew you would say that!!!:ohyea:
:dontknow: Can't remember, which ever fits, go through the box. :2thumbs:
Lamonster has a matte polish that works for me!
It is a little high in my book, but not bad if he's doing the whole system, Trans and all.:dontknow: I would do it myself! Or I would try Ron's shop!!!! Top notch people!!
How much did you get quoted?:popcorn:
I use a full aftermarket cover that covers everything, I start at the front, don't put it over the wheels till last, put it over the back all the way, then put it over the wheels to tighten it up....
That's why it's not going back!! In case I still have it for the next plug job! Not to mention the extra space I'll have to get to other things that need to be worked on.
:bowdown: Thank you for your help!!!
If you were to bring me that bike to weld it, the first thing I would do is see if it was in a good area to have good access to weld, if it wasn't, then I would tell you I need better access to the...
