Will do! Thx!
Just roll on the throttle and speed up until you pass and the ride smooths out...:)
Heading out with my son on an overnight trip to Jerome, AZ to stay in a haunted hotel called the Mile High Inn. 89A, the road to Jerome, looks like its got some nice curves. Anyone got experience...
RIP Brothers and honored spouses...you've earned it.
Good to hear...with all the talk of throttle body problems and trouble codes...I thought my time was up...:)
Sounds like I shouldn't worry about it...:)
Has anyone rode their RT on really hot, dry days (105 or so) and then let it sit in direct sunlight and got a check engine warning? I've had this happen twice here in Tucson this summer, but once I...
Muonwhiz,
I hear ya! Can't wait for fall/winter to get here! I have that lower block off from spyderpops on, but straight up tennis shoes were ok on that ride to Oracle we did together. Did you...
Looks like a toy! Prefer the CG Taurus instead!48558 Much more polished...
I'm not sure about the manual, but with my 2011 RT-Limited, and several other places on here, it seems like the Spyder runs most efficiently at least 4500-5500 rpm. On mine, that equates to 4th gear...
Welcome to the club!
and sharks dressed like airplanes really make us smile! :)
There's a better looking, bigger one on powersportwraps.com, but it's not free...
Yeah, it does...when the battery runs down...;)
LMAO! :)
So far, the only ride "out and about" that I've done is up Mt. Lemmon as fast as the cops and the corners would let me! :) I'll check out 89A and try and run it when I get a chance. Thx!
Ron,
Come on up here to Tucson and we'll show you some love! :)
Matt
Dryheat,
Heard about you from another rider that rode with you a couple years ago by the name of Big Arm. Me and muonwhiz might be the riders you saw out by Saddlebrook if you saw them last...
Taggtr,
There's two more of us on RTs here in Oro Valley, We need to all hook up do a ride together to the top of Mt. Lemmon one Saturday morning...:)
Odie,
There's two of us over here in Oro Valley, both on RTs. We both did a "group" ride last Saturday heading out to Oracle State Park and got a lot of looks and even some interested parties when...
Today I drove my 2011 RT-Limited Spyder to the local Honda car dealership to do a test drive on some possible replacements to the current car my family has. Quite, ironically, while there, no less...
Damn, being 42, I feel positively young in this crowd! :)
Cool. Gotta spread the word you know! :)
How much do the SpyderLovers.com stickers cost and do they come in various sizes (like small enough to fit on the bottom of the windscreen)?
I have a 2011 RT-Limited and the fuel gage bounces unless its completely full.
CyncySpyder, what are all the gizmos you have on your dash? I see the GPS top and center and maybe a cup holder over the analog fuel gage, but what's the screen on the right and is that a cell phone...
Thanks guys. Oil was good and it might have just been me keeping the throttle goosed a bit as I decelerated. As long as I'm tracking on throttle position as I approach stops, it seems fine.
Had a couple of guys sidle up next to me on Harleys at a stoplight tell me it was like a Cadillac...:)
The steering locks?
