Dropped old PE#2929 off on Friday night at Pittsfield Lawn & Tractor (Pittsfield, MA) and got a message Saturday morning that it was done.
(I probably should've just camped out in their showroom!)...

"Back??!"
What do mean, Deb?? I never left!
(I just dozed off...for...a season...)
Still got plenty snow here. Most ever, this winter. You?
Going tomorrow for DPS #2 on old PE #2929, finally.
BTW, a bit of Coast Guard trivia regarding the expression "beat the rush":
The Revenue Cutter (now US Coast Guard) Rush was a late 19th...
Well, TECHNICALLY it starts in December, but the nasty came a while ago. Earliest ever with the snow was Halloween here, latest ever is usually Mothers' Day.
Still, I am not allowed to whine too...
Yeah, um...it wasn't the bags, Reverend.
(How many swords did you have in them?!) :yikes:

Still snowing here...How 'bout by you, Scotty?
(And we are only into the third week of winter! :gaah: )
Ha!
My ears were ringing, but I thought it was just my Micron causing it as usual.
(Happy New Year, Deb & Brian!)
That's a good idea.
(Now, buy more paper and printer toner...)
Hey, Bro, no big deal. :doorag:
I haven't been on here in a while, so you might not remember that I don't post anything serious. Ever. :joke:
Also, anybody who has ridden with me knows I seem...
Yeah...ask anybody who has ridden behind me.
Even though I only have a semiphantom, I really like what you've done.
Start saving up for a new sound system for when you replace that stock pipe with a Micron...
Thanks, Raptor, but that's just the glare from my bald head...
Every time someone asks "So how many miles you got on that thing?" I reply "A hundred. Done all in rain and snow."
And then I sit back and allow them to explain to me how much better it is if I...
The very first time my lovely bride rode on the back of my '84 Nighthawk I pulled away from the light a bit too fast.
Yep.
Wheelie all the way down the block. The kids waiting at the bus stop...
So it's been a whole year since Dragon's Lair Tattoo moved to Shogun Tattoo!
Happy Anniversary! :congrats:
(And here's a blast from the past...)
...
Nobody tells me anything...:gaah:
Good luck with it, man!
Ha!
When I saw this photo, Lou, I thought that was you leaning into the turn and that you had replaced your RoadGlide!!! :yikes: :joke:
Spoke with RoadDog yesterday--what route are you guys taking over to Horseheads?
We were gonna just scoot out on 88. Five and a half hours.
This particular 4th of July feels a bit different than the past ones.
Our first Independence Day with our daughter in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
When motorcyclists ask me, "How many miles you got on that?" I usually respond asking "How old are you?"
If they answer any number less than fifty-two, I say "I win. I may not have ridden further,...
Hey, Andy
Could you do me a favor and post a photo of your CL-900 bags installed?
I actually had their larger bags and sold them. I ran the extender straps under the seat, but they hung low and...
I don't know, Gary...Those are not the approved tie-down points. :roflblack:
I am 6'2" and have had a CHAD for 14 months. I agree with Texmac.
I agree, again.
The CHAD smoke, is really just black "dots" which get more dense toward the mounting points at the...
Ha!
Signed, "Cease-and-desist-jeuchler" :roflblack:
...Plus me and the lovely bride.
(Unless we are now counted among the "20 others from work!") :dontknow: :roflblack:
Smylinacha and HDXBONES both had new looks, but I didn't have my camera since it was a top secret mission I was on down in Connecticut!
I did sneak a couple of spy photos of RoadDog's new trike...
OK, that's great.
Yep!
OK, I made reservations, and the lovely bride's vacation just starts then, so we're 99% in!
P.S. No online registration here. Do you know he easy will it be to get tickets long distance?...
I absolutely agree with GeminiJane.
If you can afford a full stable of motorcycles (or fifty guns!) that's great.
But I think about how I came around to my father's similar way of thinking...
