Hi all,
With winter approaching down here in the southern hemisphere I am looking at options to heat my seats on the my 2012 RT. I already have the standard heated hand grips which are fantastic....
I have 2012 RTS and have ran it till empty once, fortunately the garage was close by so the walk wasn't to bad. I managed to get 70kms or 43miles from when the light came on. I run on 98 octane which...
I've got a 2012RTS, I ran it to the point where it died on me. I managed to 70km when the light came on. I also worked out that I can get 35km per bar. I disconnected the old fuel and temp gauges...
Yes, mine can hold 680kgs so can hold the RT, however like Bob suggested use something else to support the spyder once off the ground. I use axail stands. Worked a treat with hooking up the new oil...
I purchased the SHM10 and the dual 20s which we run an iPod through it. That allows you to select from your playlist view module on your handle bar and see it displayed on the LCD screen.

Cheers, I bought mine in Auckland through a private sale last year so cannot confirm if they changed the cap or not.

Hi all, I have found that my 2012rts has been giving off a strong gasoline smell after a long ride. It seems to be doing this on hot days. I also noticed a small drip of a clear liquid that has a...
No ethanol in the fuel, and I use either 98 octane or 95 if 98 is unavailable. This really improves the fuel efficiency.

I'm getting the same as Peter on average with my 2012RTS. I will get around 250km before the fuel light comes on. Cheers Glenn

Thanks, I've found this site to be very insightful.

Thanks, I've found if I run with the revs lower than what the advice suggests I can get 250 km before the light comes on from a full tank. That's about 155 miles.

Hi All, I've had my 2012 RTS for a few months, so am still new to Spyder riding and have to say riding at a higher rev range is new to me, I didn't know this until now. Will this reduces the range...
