So after Lamont's response, I say you head down to your dealership, grab yer Spyder, pull the DPS fuse and head out to the parade with on Saturday morning. Tell'em you'll bring it back on Monday!...
Race Tech also makes a very nice set for the Spyder. They will set ya back a few clams though. More expensive than the Elkas I believe.
I will say though, if I didn't already have the Elkas I...
I love the look of the dual two bros pipe. Found it far too loud though so I tried the P1 tips. It was still too loud. I ended up having a local chopper shop put baffles in both cans and now it's...
Take a look at the thread in the how to section. I believe it shows several zip ties that need to be cut to free up cable length.
In addition to that, I found I needed to reroute a couple cables,...
Sorry to hear about the folks with F4 issues. I have been using mine for about 6 months now and have had no trouble with it other than a few times the sound has cut in and out but then works again...
Hey Fellow San Diego riders,
I am going to be riding up for the IHOP meeting location Saturday morning and wanted to see if any others would be intersted. I know Ken is coming up from El Cajon...
I purchased a Vemar Jiano Bluetooth helmet and thought it was pretty nice. At the time I had issues with volume when paired with my iPhone but that was a problem with the iPhones Bluetooth. I...
Sorry I missed it. Glad you all had a good ride.
Spydeb,
The first shield I bought was a large CalSci. My issue was that I still got quite a bit of head buffeting with it and unfortunately there is no room for adjustment. I am only 5'9 but I...
Here are some pics of the Givi on the CHAD bracket.

welcome and :congrats: on the new ride.

Gotta love the white. Looks very nice.
So I have tried a few of the various windshields, but I think I have finally found the one that works for me.
I had Pirate Powersports mount a Givi shield on my CHAD bracket. The smaller Givi...
37 here.

I use the BlueAnt Interphone F4. So far its been very good. I have it paired with my iPhone and it works great with Voice Command for both music and calls. I have not paired it with another F4 or...
Quad,
I am just east of Crosby and just west of 4S Ranch. Its one of the more recent development called Del Sur. Not far at all from PQ.
We should definitely try and get some rides...
Hey,
I am from San Diego. I live in North County between Rancho Santa Fe and Rancho Bernardo. I have been on a few of the West Coast Spyder rides and Meet N Eats.
Consider me checked in! ...
San Diego, California. All the good weather, All the time!
I think it's possible to run both without modifying fuel mappng. I run a Two Brothers dual exhaust and a K&N air filter and do not need a Juice Box. Spyder runs very well. May be different in...
I use the NelsonRigg full cover for the Spyder. It's waterproof, has two internal liners, one for windshield and one for the hot pipes so you can put it right on and don't have to worry about hot...
It is definitely a known issue that the Up n Out Mirrors will not work with a stock Ultra Touring Shield. I believe that ESI even notes that somewhere on their site.
As for cutting it, many here...
Pirate Powersports in Riverside, CA. Lou is awesome and will take care of you.
Dual Two Brothers exhaust with the power tips and had baffles put in by a chopper shop. Don't think it much louder than a hindle now but still sounds nice and gives the spyder the two can look.
Test road a SE5 and was quite impressed with the shifting and what not. But in the end, just had to have a manual. Just something about having the clutch.
The number of folks without problems far out number the those with problems. I ride a 2008 and find it to be both safe and reliable.
Scotty, that is a good point about the friction point exercises. It does help with using the clutch. But with the SE5 solid clutch skills are not a requirement for Spyder riding.
And as for...
There has been a good bit of talk about the importance of an MSF class and while I certainly think it's a good idea as it covers alot about just being more aware while operating the vehicle, I just...
There are a number of folks on here that run no front fenders or no rear fender or both. Many have altered the fronts and rear for a custom look as well.
Personally, I have replaced the rear...
I just sucked it up and bought the Corbin rear fender. Looks great and gives you a nice led license plate frame.
