Ditto to all who chimed in on this thread. I love my Spyder, and I am Glad That BRP is at least addressing these issues. To the guy who wants a lemon law suit.
I can understand your frustration...
I have finally completed this thread.. And I am very impressed. Nice Bike ATA.
I like it.. maybe a mod I could do..
wish i had been there..
I installed (finally) the 4" NMN risers on my spyder with tremendous ease.

Lamont has officially drained the retirement account for his new "Last Mod"
I will be rockin a set of the NMN Adjustable foot brackets hopefully in the next week... I will of course post pictures, and comments after they are installed.
I finagled (past tense) with mine for about an hour with NO LUCK!! I can gain access enough to swap out the filter when the time comes, But as far as fully removing the panel, I was not able to...
I did not have to cut mine.. Perhaps I was just fortunate..
Changing exhaust gaskets every 4000-6000 miles wouldn't be too bad as long as the location was where you could do it on the fly.. (ie: not remove panels, easy to get to, maybe even while...
That is one cool looking ride..
I would be happy to PC them for you..
PM Me if interested.
Put me on the List NMN.. You know how to get in touch with me..
I am pretty good with my hands, I would like to see some basic styles of a handbrake modification..

Thats a quick response... ime to go to NMN's site and look around..
if you stretch it just a little it would be suitable for a hood latch modification. At least this way its still on your Spyder.:2thumbs:
WHOOT on the Jax Motorsports SLAM!!!!! I see my link in my sig has been removed but after paying @ 300 dollars for an oil change, Ill Never return back there..
I run the 5-40 full synthetic in my VW turbo diesel, It is the only (besides AMSoil) that is recommended and the critical element is the lubrication of the turbocharger. (lots of heat and wear...
Ihave been loving my spyder this year. Im starting to see them everywhere.. But thats a good thing! I guess Ill just have to buy a calander when they come out.
Yellow is for Yuppies.. (Muahahahahhaaha!!!! roflmao)
I went silver because I did not think that a different color justified a 400.00 markup.
Plus I think it looks a bit classier.
I do...
Lamont is right G'Burg this time of year is completely NUTZ!!! BUT.. at least we will all get to test out our cooling systems!!! lol!
I am hoping the fact that it is during the week is going...
sick mod Lamont.. Ill have to see this one in person.. any big change in cornering, and weight shifting?
we will be there with bells on! can't wait to get into one of these things!
I removed the tubing from my intake (snorkles, etc.) and the smell worsened even more.. (What could cause that?)
so I put the tubes back into the air intake and now it is just occasional..
Im...
I apologize here as well for my harsh reaction to the lame brain that posted about the spyder..
Although I would love to race him down the dragon.. see if lamonster can get the stretch closed for...
well.. My only issue is that he remarked about the safety factor in the steering.. (it steers with 2 - 7.5 inch wide tires) but he only rode for an hour.... lol.. maybe he is part of the 15%...
we need to hook up Lamonster Ill be in the area in july.. maybe we can ride together.
That is a good Idea, You could also SEW them onto the side/Front of the tank bag. If you needed quick access to your stuff like that.
Its this type of imagination that leads to invention. Be...
