I'm not sure butt...it seemed like our Spyder ran warmer when my exhaust down pipe gaskets were worn badly and leaking. O2 mixture was off? :dontknow:
You have an SM5 and that is the valve for the clutch vacuum assist. Or so I've been told.:thumbup:

Is it possible that the steering "lockup" or drift is being caused by the braking system? The bike can brake the wheels when it needs to to help with wheel lift. :dontknow:
One last word for all you folks with clean fingernails. :D Remember that almost every motorcycle ever built came with a toolkit, including the Spyder. Your manual has the basic maintenance...

I feel that if I was looking for a touring bike, there would be no question. The RT is LOADED and the price is in line with other tourers. The bike was very comfortable both seating and handlebar...

Keep in mind that most bikes have a forum(none as good as this one!)and it would be hard to keep up with forums for all bikes each dealer sells. Be patient and help educate your dealers. :2thumbs:
Unless they could get more torque, I dont think it would light it up much more than current motor. We should borrow some racing mods from Aprilia and bump up hp that way.:2thumbs:

Only problems I can see are that without valve adjustments and by extending oil changes, service departments will go out of business. I guess "nirvana" could be reached by adding the mysterious 300...
I guess my question has been answered before. I could mount the GIVI mount plate to the BRP rear rack plate and swap out when I don't need the trunk. I just wish BRP would sell the plate separate...
