This morning I headed out for a little ride. Everything was great for five or 10 minutes and then the engine started running very rough.
I was only able to get the spider back home by keeping the...
Pete, thanks so much. That's what I am going to do. And, I've heard the 13mm before.
You guys rock!

Well, I got down on my side to look at the area I need to work...Wow! There's about 7" to go under the muffler. Either that comes off, or I need a jack. So, the spring comes off easy enough. Then I'm...
Bummer, bad link.
Or, do I have to 'get inside' an archive section?
and...does this parking brake lock just the back wheel?
Thank you for responding! Would you know which would be easier for a novice?

I have a 2016 F3L with a significant electrical problem. I have an appointment with a dealer in a couple of weeks.
I understand that there is (?) a way to manually release the parking brake?? ...
Well, I was really hoping it was the battery (2 years old, continuously on a trickle)
So, I jumped the Spyder from a running car. All the lights were certainly up full brightness but the starter...
I have a 2016 F3L with a good battery.
This morning I attempted to start my machine and after the dash lit up for about 1 second. Then everything went dark. Maybe 20 seconds later, the fender...
I bought a windshield from F4 almost 5 years ago. Perhaps 5 months ago the salt air here in Florida (probably) caused some of the powder coating to peel off with an ensuing rust issue.
I called F4...
All the sizes are XL as shown in the pictures.
The 'controller' is found on the jacket and gloves and those are also indicated in the pictures.
I'd suggest a prospective buyer, not familiar with...
So I bought all this stuff and then moved to South Florida and this has been sitting on the shelf ever since. I have worn the jacket for a total of 2 hours. Nothing else has been worn at all.
I...
Thanks for the answers...they confirm what I thought. But, since so many things 'I thought' aren't turning out to be true these days, I thought I'd ask.
Sorry about the duplicate post above...
OK, I should know this, but...
Apparently, there is no separate transmission oil?
So, I notice that the noise of my shifts, especially the first ones of a ride, are excessively noisy. The first...

I have a few items to add to this list...
And, even though I've edited the post before, I cannot NOW find the edit function button...So, that's not a good thing. But, help me out where on earth is...
Jacket XL (they run big.)
Gloves 2X
I've edited the post...
So, there's a rumor going around that the weather will soon turn a little chilly around here and further North!
As I no longer spend my winters here in the mountains I don't need these nearly new...
I earlier posted some questions regarding some wiring issues...
So now I have the fuse box installed (kinda a tight fit) but have found that the fused circuit I had tested to be switched is NOT...
I'm thinking the way you are.
Remember, it worked for 3 years w/o issues and I'm not planning on adding anything else.
Thanks
Guys, thanks so much for this information!!
At this point, I am committed to a fuse block in order to clean up the mess, that I made 'over a period of time'. I literally cannot tell what goes where...
Lots of good information...but, you seem to forget the NOOB part.
What wire , from where, to where?
I think the fuse block makes a lot of sense (before and now).
Again, what wire to where, to...
OK, that part makes sense to me.
But, I still would like to have a rheostat (replaced if necessary).
And, where do I connect the other wire?
Thanks
First, thanks for answering.
I do not want them on with the headlights, only a variable option.
The driving lights are LEDs and I cannot easily locate the load. The rheostat is to dim those lights...
First, I am a complete electrical noob, that's important information!
I have a pair of driving lights (fender mount) that worked just great for 3 years or so, connected to a rheostat on the side...
I am really hoping there is a "Trick" to reinstalling this component. I finally get it done but it's just a PITA.
The component I have labeled as the "bra" is the plastic component below the...
I'm looking for some folks to ryde with periodically.
Thanks,
Neal
Rusty, the item is still for sale. I cannot PM you because apparently you have set your preferences to not receive emails.
FYI...the item will be removed as 'For Sale' on October 15...I'm...
Apparently not. I just stuck a coathanger through it several times and there were no hangups.
