I have mine mounted with Velcro for the last 3 years and it has not come off yet only to change battery if needed . I have it on the glove box door ( for lack of a better name for it) between my legs...

If you are thinking of three wheels instead of two I would look at converting your Goldwing. I have been looking at the Spyder because it is new and different but it can not measure up to my Goldwing...
While eveyone knows Gerbing's. The original founder is now selling gear again under his name Gordon's heated gear with a lifetime warrentee. Price is the same as Gerbing's and all the Gerbing...
It's to late now but a 12 volt Powerlet outlet is smaller then standard 12 volt outlet. They also sell cables for connecting GPS other devises etc. Only requires A 5/8 dia. hole and about half the...
If the bearing fit is to tight , you will lose the bearings designed tolerance and the bearing will run hot. Could be why you had a short life on bearing.
My friend has 13 RT Limited and just up under the windshield on the let hand side there is a set of terminals that I used to connect his heated clothing to. His battery is also in the Frunk
The key can not be copied without the required info pertaining to the particular bike. The whole purpose of the micro chip in the key. A plain blank will do nothing except open the trunk maybe. I...
Using J& M elite headset and had problem trying to get every thing balanced , finally worked it out but took some time to get co rider system properly balanced along with driver.
In my shirt pocket
The size of the group can be better managed if the lead and the trail bike have away of communicating with each other. I would say CB's but BRP's are expensive and not very good. So it may be hard...
Sounds to me like you have a dead battery. I would try getting my hands on a charger. Walmart will do in a pinch. Battery is not completely dead just low enough to only light the led's etc. probably...
I would look at Hartcoseats.com for a custom built seat. I have a Diamond seat on my Goldwing, and love it . Made by the same company as Hartco, truly built to customer requirements
I would look at Long Day Comfort gear for a really good base layer which could be used all year round. The gear is not cheap but good quality never is.
Usefull life is 5 years. Suggest you donate to some one you don't like
First item is a decent audio system and intergraded with the CB.
a better quality of CB
a user manual that is worth while
Better training of Dealer personnel.
Bottom Line BRP's audio system sucks. And their manual is worthless as far as the audio system goes. And most dealers are clueless about it also. On the settings screen there is a setting for volume...
Apparently you got one of the 2013 RT lemons. Hopefully your local dealer can help you solve some of the heat issues. Other wise you get to live with it or trade it of for a different machine.
Muth Mirrors web site shows you what you have to do to take your mirrors apart to get at the wiring. It is not for the faint of heart. Good luck.
Kurayakn makes a handle for the Honda Goldwing you could look at that.
I don't know about taping off the red led, I do know you need a 5 to 4 converter
Save your money they don't work.
Well it is either a dead battery or the kill switch got bumped on.
Thank You Cowgirl I knew some body would have the answer.
I have a 2013 RT Limited wit CB and entertainment system and am having trouble setting the intercom microphone turn on point or sensitivity. what function and screen can I find this setting on. And...
With out a doubt it is the Ultimate seat, I don't know if Diamond or Harto makes one for the Spyder but they would be a consideration also. Corbin's tend to be very stiff in the beginning. Checked...
I did mine and no problem other then they (factory) had the drain plugs in so darn tight I almost striped the torx socket out. That would have been the pits. Make sure you know which trans. filter...
Rammount.com is the official ram site. If you can find it here, they do not make it.
I would say an Air Hawk is probably the best after market add on seat you can invest in. sheep skin and foam help but are not adjustable.
Going from a 2 wheel wing to a 3 wheel spyder will be different . The Gold Wing is definitely a touring machine , the 2014 Spyder RT-L may be getting close but still has away to go to match a Wing....
A simpler thing to do is get a spare key that does not have the chip in it and put it some place you can get to with out to much trouble. This way you can open the trunk but not start the bike.
