As a former owner (twice) of a original Madstad adjustable windshield bracket for a V-Strom I think this may be an option for some who want a smaller shield and still have the ability to adjust the...
BRP taking out 6th gear for a reverse was a tactical blunder IMO. Could have done reverse several different ways that didn't take removing a gear & gas mileage would have been a bit more reasonable...
One man's novelty is another man's necessity. ;)
Going to have to come out in white before I even think about it.
Looks interesting though.
You've got speedo/odo on the Garmin, so metric on the cluster (while annoying) isn't that big a deal, right? At least not enough to sweat before the trip.
Then again, it's electronic & electronics...
Dude! Whatever you do, don't ever piss off your guardian angel! ;)
Glad this incident turned out as well as it did. Always makes me cringe to read stuff like this.
Wearin' 'em is more important than which ones ya wear, as long as they fit properly. ;)
I use these - Silent Ear plugs because of the NRR rating. It's the highest I've found.
When I'm listening to music I wear Etymotic ER-6i ear buds, which have a NRR of 26, so they make decent ear...
Well, that'd be a photo op, wouldn't it? ;)
That would be "Endless roadway and gravel-free corners." :2thumbs:
Just tell her to keep her breast bone directly behind your spine. That way she leans no more and no less than you do.
AFAIK Moto/Cycleport makes the only kevlar mesh jacket.
Firstgear, Joe Rocket, Tourmaster, Olympia Motosports et al all make mesh jackets.
Pick the features/price point you want and spend your...
Kinda luke-warm on the shield, but those headlights rock!
Well 18 wheeler drivers have been doing it for decades...
If the rear view mirror in my truck blocked the top 15-25% of my field of view and moved whenever I moved my head I might agree with you....
Kinda hard to get excited in or be disappointed in something I still haven't even seen yet.
Let's talk after the first time you need to panic stop with that nice slippery seat. I have a feeling your voice may be a tad higher than it is now.
Don't ask me how I know that. :roflblack:
That looks soooooooo much better than the stock shield. What kind of radius did the put on the cut?
No matter what you ride, the ground is just as hard... :ohyea:
Classic!
Yes to both.
I have the Etymotic ER-6i buds and they work very well. I use them with my iPod and a wireless remote. The iPod goes in my inside jacket pocket so the wires aren't exposed to any wind.
The noise...
I'm really starting to have second thoughts about getting a Spyder next summer.
Really doesn't seem like they're ready for prime time & BRP doesn't seem to be on top of anything that goes wrong.
...
Olympia Motosports has some nice mesh gear. They are one of the few makers that have 3/4 length mesh jackets, if that's your thing.
I hope the coons don't take it hard to be moving. ;)
Nice writeup Nexus. I'm thinking about transplanting both lever perches off of something... like a DL1000 Strom so the levers match. You could get matching Pazzo levers that way too. And add...
What's the adjusting bolt hardware look like? Would adding a internal star lock washer help it hold position do you think?
Personally I think BRP took the hand brake lever off (prototypes had one) because the target audience was car owners, not motorcyclists. Complaints of the hand brake lever oscillating was disturbing...
Watch this video and then decide. It's toward the end (about 3 minutes left) where he talks about dropping one.
I'm bettin' you're on a first name basis with all the cops near where you ride, huh? ;)
