I'm guessing that the axle nut came loose or was left loose after the motor install. I doubt they had to loosen it when they put the harness it.

One sad Spyder...

Starting to really hate this thing. Motor blew up at 3500 miles now this at 4900 miles. Not to mention I had to replace the wiring harness this winter due to mouse damage. I think I might sell it...

Had my axle sliding block break today while riding. Broke the one on the drive belt side. Anyone else experience this.

Looks like the oil pump shaft broke. It's gear driven.

The dealer got the new ($7800) motor yesterday. Hopefully I'll get it back by Friday.

Waiting on a new motor to come in. I've been hearing rumors that the oil pumps on the 1330's are a known issue. Has anyone else had any issues with an oil pump or the oil pump shaft or drive gear?

Have fun today. My F3-S is in the shop with a dead motor. Oil pump went with less than 3500 miles...

Got the word today oil pump failure. Lots of internal damage. Broken oil pump shaft, bent and broken valves, piston damage, and damaged bearings. I guess the transmission is supposed to be ok....

I wish... I was thinking about a turbo next summer but I am rethinking that now. LOL

I think the timing belt broke. I won't know until tomorrow at the earliest?

Air filter housing is lifted about a half inch.

I'm getting the BRP tensioner installed Monday. I hope this fixes the vibration issue all together.

Still need to pull it all back apart and paint the brackets. When I do I will add some pics of them.
