Thanks for you input!
I have a 2015 Spyder F3-S SE6 with just over 92,000 miles. I am looking to sell it (southern CA) and want to know what is a reasonable asking price.
It has some modifications:
- Harley custom...
Like I tell my wife and daughters - E means Empty, not Enough!
I have a 2015 F3-S that had the paddle shifter fail years ago. Luckily it was still under warranty at the time of failure.
I have a 2015 F3-S SE6 1330 with just over 92000 miles. Only problem I've had is the front sprocket.
The link https://can-am.brp.com/spyder/shop/for-sale/parts-iframe.html no longer gets you to the Can-Am parts webpage. Anyone know the location?
From the original picture shown, the sprocket was put on backwards. From information that I have, the part number should be on the outside. Plus the flanges are different thickness. The thickest...
That is the typical sound when the front sprocket is going out. Check for red dust.
100% guarantee it is the sprocket! I've heard that sound several time!! Most likely you have over 15,000. You can't order a replacement sprocket from BRP ( I tried so I could have a spare). Local...
Same with me. Only will give you credit to use at a Can-Am dealer.
Interested if still available. PM me
Has anyone received a refund for Spyder F3 sprockets that you purchased that is specified in the sprocket recall notice? I contacted BRP, got a case #, and they said to send them a copy of the...
I called BRP and my F3 was on the recall list. Luckily, I have receipts for the 3 sprockets that I personally bought and replaced (over 90,000 miles on F3). BRP rep opened a case for the cost, sent...
194542 This the lubricant that I used on the last two sprockets. I check to make sure bolt is tight every week. Shaft doesn’t seem to be worn much 194543
Well the new white sprocket gave out this morning. No warning!! Luckly I had just got off Interstate for gas. Installed in June of 2020. Only 5000 miles! I think they are worse than the original....
Found a solution to the BAD KEY issue on Youtube. Works great! Also be sure to clean the inside of the antenna.

Eco Mode - Front Sprocket - DESS :(
From experience, the failure rate is about every 20,000 miles. I have over 85,000 miles on my F3-S and I am on my 5th pulley. My current pulley is the new "WHITE" pulley and has 6000 miles on it...
I put the new "WHITE" pulley on my 2015 F3-S at the end of June and it already has the "red dust" (about 6000 miles on it). I highly doubt that it has resolved the wear issue.
Drove it this morning and no errors. So far it looks like issue resolved.
For those who may have to replace the MAP sensor, it is easy to access the screw that holds the sensor in place by taking the plastic cover around the ignition off. The screw is straight down and...
Interest but just spent over $200 on repairs on my Spyder. Will watch to see if it is still available in a few weeks
I have replaced the DESS twice in the last 5 years on my 2015 Spyder F3-S SE6. Message on both keys. Works great for about 15,000-20,000 miles then comes back. Anyone know how to disable the DESS...
Thanks!
Unfortunately I do not have a 2015 F3-S service manual. Does anyone know the part number? Is it 707000995 - Pressure And Temperature Sensor?
After driving my 2015 Spyder F3-S SE6 (87,500 miles)for about 5-10 minutes, when I come to a stop, the engine check light comes on then stalls. Works fine when over 1000rpm. Finally was able to get...
Blue Ridge windshields are terrible! Create a lot of helmet buffering. If you want a windshield look at the third party versions.
I’ve tried to get a hold of Laam multiple times. No answer. Is he still in business? I would like to get my seat redone
I got my white sprocket yesterday. It might stop the howling/whistling but I HIGHLY doubt it will fix the sprocket wear issue. I’ll be able to tell in another 20000 miles!(that’s been my average wear...
If you are coasting on a down hill you will hear a grinding noise. That has been my indicator that the sprocket is ready to fail
