Did you fix it? Call if you need to. Joe
Go to the dealer. There is a small cutout that fits on the F3T to mount the stock antenna. Bolts right up.
Put a pedal box from Lamonster’s Garage on a friend’s bike the other day. Fantastic! Works great, and makes quite a difference! I’m sold! I also agree with his video; connect it, and mount it under...
Good idea! It solves a problem for many people, and that is exactly what this forum is about! Thank you for sharing your find! Joe
Nice! I love your solutions! See you soon! Joe
Scary the first time, but it gets easier, the more you practice!
Glad you posted; I’m hoping someone can figure this out! Joe
Look for marks. If one bolt had a spacer, you will see a round printing. I’ve not seen a spacer in any 14 or newer bikes. Joe
If you have the hitch, module, wires, etc, and the only issue is the old axle bolt won’t pass thru the 22 axle, two approaches:
Have the hole bored bigger, or, buy a piece of threaded rod, as big as...
If the locktite is Undisturbed, it’s probably an extra, dropped accidentally. Jet fixer is right about where they go, but if those are there, you have an extra. More importantly, screws that small...
Happy birthday and all the best. In 300,000 miles, never had a better partner! Joe
You can get at the cable at the switch, tug on it, remove the seat. Call me if you need help. Joe
Bring it to me. I’ll fix it. Joe
Taking the rear seat off is huge! Makes all the difference. Glad it worked out!

Latest project: added F3 bags and a top case to a Ryker Rally. Got the bracket from Mike Nelson, fabbed up a couple of brackets, and made it work. Rykers have a tiny...
Ah, typing at the same time!
Follow the cable. If not kinked or pinched, try to lube it. Use electrical tape to make a funnel, pour in a real light machine oil, and work the cable. If it cannot be...
What AZ said. Disconnect the cable, and see if the latch has full range. If so, the cable is too tight. Follow the cable to the adjuster, and give it some slack. If the latch still won’t work,...
The owners manual shows you how.
Measure up from the ground to the center of the headlight. On a flat surface, move 25 feet from a wall. Mark the wall 2” less that the headlights. Adjust the lights...
Good idea!
We have had 7, and worked on thousands. It sure helps to know what the question is about! Joe
Just an FYI on those new wheels. The lasers for wheel alignment won’t fit! I had one a couple of weeks ago to align, and luckily, Rich had a spare set of wheels to install. Good thing, as it needed...
Know what I’m thankful for?
All my friends in this community!
Happy thanksgiving!
Cheers!
Joe
Ok, back from the BRP demo tour! We just finished an event in Tracy, CA, and in 2 weeks, head for St.George. We go where we get invited; Hey, ABQ, you need us? We are ready to go! Rallies would be...
Thanks, Jay. We did 5 or 6 today. Windex, insert the front (bent) pin, bow (bend) the panel, and insert the rear (straight)pin.
The screws holding those pins are “tamper resistant”, which never...
Me, too. Tag light is perfect for that!
Go for it! The comfort and storage far outweigh the performance piece. By far! We had a 17 F3T, and went to a 20 RT base, then added the top box.
Don’t worry - replace it! All years and models are pitiful. Lots of options: pick one!
If you are handy, any junkyard has plenty of cars; car horns fit, with a little work. Plug right in. Make a...
Go to trip a or b
Should give miles and MPG
Sadly, no. Joe
Those are what I wear. Fantastic gear! If only they were bigger! Joe
What Safecracker said.
Why? The tail and brake lights are LEDs. If you say what you are trying to do, we can get you there. Joe
