Bump
Thanks Joe
I thought about that but it is too cold / salty roads to ride down to the dealer and I don't really want to take the back end of the trailer apart to do it. I think a call to the...
I am selling my 622 trailer that is keyed the same as my bike. I'd rather not give away one of my keys with the trailer. Does anybody know if you have to have the key to remove the barrel? My RTL...
Check the balance and the alignment and do the laser alignment. Just so you don't make multiple trips.
I guess my point was that this has been coming for a long time and I find hard to believe that anything in the last 6 weeks had anything at all to do with it. But of course I could just be pissed...
How about a dealer network that, for the most part, refused to embrace an entire product line because it wasn't "a real Harley."
How about a MoCo whose biggest change in the last 10 years is a motor...
Just sent you a PM.
Holy smokes that is a lot of ground to cover in a week..... on a bike. I used to live in Snellville when I was a kid, left back in '78 when it was still a small town. That was when 78 was...
I have 2 problems:
1. I said something stupid to my wife...."Oh no I won't get another bike before I get rid of the other two.....":banghead:
2. I have a storage problem most of which is caused by...
Shameless bump.
I am now a motivated seller. My new bike is on a boat from Germany and will be here by the middle of February. That is about a month before I thought it would be here. The link in my signature and...
Go sit on one of the new K1600B's with the low seat..... Don't ride it though, trust me on that one.

Good thing I am not in a big hurry..... yet. This would be great for somebody going to Spyderfest this year.
My wife and I did the Lake Michigan Circle. We went up to the southeastern part of Superior for a night and the next day. Take plenty of mosquito spray for sure.
I posted the bike on Craigslist and was able to put more pictures up there. The link is below if you are interested.

I am still kickin'. My job got a whole lot more time consuming and my daughter went from being 12 to almost 17. I am pretty sure that happened overnight. I always seem to have something going...
A few more ....
Since I can't seem to figure out why it is turning some of my pictures upside down, let me know and I can send you more if interested.
Thanks,

Ummm, not for long. They'll be calling her lucky from now on. Somebody needs to tell her to get her weight forward when she shoots too.
Agreed. But I also know that a battery at less than 12 bolts will cause other things to happen, codes, etc. I can tell you that with 11.7 volts mine acted like pushing the starter button was...
Go with easy first, charge the battery then start figuring out what else might be wrong if that doesn't take care of it.
Put a charger on the battery, it should be at 13 +. Mine was at 11.7 an doing all sorts of weird things. Charge the battery and all is good.
We have this thing here in Illinois called Winter, where we put our Spyders away in the back of the garage and don't ride them for months.nojoke
That is good to know. I thought a 12 volt battery would be fully charged at 12. Learn something new everyday. Thanks.
It is a motorcycle charger. I think it is 1.5 amp. Once it sees the battery is charge it switches to maintain.
Let it charge since this morning and it started right up. All better now. Thanks for the advice. I've never seen a low battery make things act like the Spyder was acting. I know now thanks to SL....
Low tech Harley started right up.
So now the rest of the story.....
I think the battery is just low. I have another charger. I hooked it up long enough to see if that was the problem, that was...
