I have recently fitted a damper from Doc Humphrey and it was straightforward to fit and works really well, but probably more important than that he is a great guy to deal with and I would highly...
Congratulations :yes::yes:
I can't believe it but I have seen 3 Spyders locally in the last week, one extreme to the other,
today I saw a silver RS on the Eastern Road in Portsmouth, last Sunday I saw a bright yellow RS on...
Hi Harry, take a look at my thread " lifting my spyder above my head " I fitted a single post lift to get my F3 above my car as I have limited floor space in my garage. It may not be exactly what you...
I would have thought that verbal communication through headsets would be the best option. You can then give her a running commentary on what is approaching so that she can at least be prepared for...
Hi and thanks for the PM. Having trouble with the pictures using PM so put them here
This was the reinforced concrete base, 3500 lb mix reinforced with rebar and a minimum of 6"

I think I have ...... the pivot point is obviously forward compared to the centre of the Spyder so I have moved it back by 6 or 7 inches on the lift to get the weight more central to the lift and...
Thanks for the reply Doc.
No wonder I've been having trouble, I thought the tracking was out :dontknow:
Well I was quite lucky really as the house has a wrap around extension which means there was loads of roof space in the centre and far end of the garage but I still had to move some of the horizontal...
Congratulations and welcome to the site, enjoy your new ride:yes:
Does anybody know the centre of mass or pivot point on the F3s?
I store my Spyder on a lift above my car and would like to get the WEIGHT centred on the lift rather than just getting it in the...
Well I have a very quick response from Cindy by email and the good news is they do ship to the UK
They are on there way
These look like they give a much better view and don't appear to have any distortion of the image. I have just sent a message to see if they ship to the UK, fingers crossed they do and I will soon...
Well after 1800 odd miles and 4 weeks I have spotted another Spyder:yes:
It was an F3T in Burgundy near Ilfracoombe Devon. I guess they aren't as common over here in the Uk. I went to my dealer...
Thanks for the comments, it took quite a bit of careful measuring as the space in the front of the roof isn't that big. Had a nightmare actually importing the lift due to problems with other items in...
Thanks for all the replies, seems easier to just do it from the Ipad

I have got a full 8 inches of clearance between my car and the lift and even if the car is in off road height I have still got plenty of space so they can't make contact
Just tried uploading the same picture with my iPad and it worked first time

Now you see it......

Now you don't.....
I am taking pictures with an iPhone and then uploading via Windows and the pictures are 90 degrees out. Thanks for the replays so far, seems like it's an Apple / Windows thing and not me cracking up...
Can somebody help me with posting pictures, I know how to post them but they are always rotated differently and I can't get them the right way up, what's the trick please, thanks
Pm sent
You couldn't accidentally ship one to the UK could you :2thumbs:
Congratulations on the new ride, enjoy it
Hi, I did a search online and it is a system that measures deceleration during engine braking and puts your brake light on as a warning to drivers behind you. Some are adjustable and some have an...
Its nothing to do with situational awareness or defensive driving or lane position, its the fact that if you are slowing down with engine braking alone then the driver behind doesn't gat a brake...
Thanks for the info, I didn't know they existed so I will have a look at the options
I have read this thread with interest as I have only been riding for a week and was wondering about the manual shifting points for both up and down shifts. Some of my upshifts under gentle...
