I have a stock 08 muffler assembly that was only on the spyder a short time. Price will be very little if you pay to ship it.
Sent you a pm.
I have a running GS SM5 that I wish to part out. It is now minus the fenders and fog lights. The bike is otherwise complete if you need to replace any broken plastic or mechanicals, let me know. ...
Same problem. I just went to ACE hdwe and got some reflective tape strips and replaced the originals. It's easy to trim to size.
I've been using Turtle Wax Trim Renew on all the matte finish. Very happy with it.
Thanks for your comments/advice. I also have an 09 Spyder and there is zero play in the bars and that was the reason for my concern. I'll just keep ryden on.
I bought the cheapest mesh jacket from Cycle Gear. I think it was on sale for under $80. It has a removable liner and liteweight armor plating that is also removable. Pretty darned comfy in the...
This left/right 2 or 3 degrees of play has got me baffled. There is no up or down movement of the handlebar and it rides straight. There is nothing loose about the tie rods or sway bar. I read...
I bet you're right. I tried pulling em off prior to taking it in but they seemed so stuck on that I figgered i'd tear em up.
I never in a million years would have been able to diagnose this misfire as a bad plug. It would on and off again act like it was just putting along on one cylinder then accelerate like a rocket...
You would think the manual would have shown that. Nothing, nada, after reading it cover to cover.
Nothing. The previous owner must have removed them or the factory installed the switch but no lites. Thanks for the scoop.
I hope the pic will help.

Can't figure out the function/purpose of an on/off button switch located on top of the fairing or cowell just under the left handlebar end. A weathered decal that maybe looks like a cloud with...
Hmmm, gonna have to explore the boards if the problem comes back. Thanks.
Hah ! Problem may be solved, me thinks. I started mounting the bike using the passenger peg for a step-up. Getting off the bike doesn't seem to cause a problem. Maybe these old hips and the f3...
The "back roads" part of the story gave me pause to rethink the best road trip of my life, albeit I was in a cage. Ten years ago I rented a hertz car in Oceanside, Ca. and traveled to Boston, via...
Cheap version of something, that's for sure. 4 of em for 8 bucks. I still can't get over how pleased I am with it. I'm gonna try giving you a pic of a similar one I found on-line. If I can't,...
Just installed a throttle control slip-on device. I bought a 4 pack thru Ebay I think. I originally wanted it for my f3 but when I put it on the Ryker, wow what a difference. An added benefit, it...
My Ryker ( the leaker ) is a 2019 600 cc. All is well now. When I showed the service writer the receipt for 4 quarts of oil he took care of everything. The reason for the limp mode was a yaw...
Thanks a bunch. I'll be showing this to my Mechanic.
Update to the oil puking problem. My receipt for the last dealer provided oil change shows I was charged for 4 quarts of oil. I'll be taking it in Fri. Should be interesting.
Update to my puddle of oil on the ground post. Checked my receipt for the oil change service this morning. There it is. I was charged for 4 quarts of oil. I take it in Fri. to repair the limp...
Today upon checking the oil level on my Ryker 600, after pulling and replacing the dipstick, I had to clean up a big spill under the bike. Probably at least 3 ounces of oil. The oil level reads...
For the second time in 3 mos. my Ryker 600 has gone into limp mode, flashing a code of 155 or 1SS, hard to tell. The last time the dealer couldn't figure out what caused it. They took 3 days,...
My hips are calling out to me to consider trading my 2015 F3S for a Rally. It is in excellent condition with 7k miles on it. I also own and ride a Ryker 600 and a Sportster Trike with no agony. I...
It couldn't be easier. Remove the bolt, tap a flat screwdriver into the slot, just til it wiggles, slide it off and reposition it 20 to 30 degrees rearward. Piece of cake.
I just moved my shifter back about 30 degrees and it works great. I never have to move it with my hand. It took about 15 minutes. Just loosen the bolt, lightly tap a sharp flat screwdriver into...
I ran 25 rear and 17 front for nearly 5k miles. A few hundred miles ago I raised it to 28 rear and 25 front. The ride is much improved.
