You can either call your dealer and give them your VIN to check, or you just go to Can-Am's website and use there VIN lookup to see if there are any open recalls on your particular Ryker or even a...
I am a OEM dealer for many companies in the outdoor power equipment world.
For instance I am a Briggs And Stratton authorized dealer per my contract with them (B&S) I can not refuse to do warranty...
I would test drive them both, I would find a dealer that has both to drive, drive one then the other, and repeat that procedure a second time, then make a decision based upon what the ride says....
I would suggest to have them break down what all the extra charges are exactly. Then you could really tell if they are a bit steep or not. I am sure they could tell you exactly what and how much...
What I was getting at with "street talk" was the phrase "E-free" in Wisconsin we also have 87 without ethanol (E-free 87), but on the pump it will say contains no ethanol, not E-free.
I believe you have E10 fuel from what you are explaining, which is 10% ethanol. If you had E-free it would not state that it contains no more than 10% ethyl (ethanol) I think the statement E-free...
E10 = 10% Ethanol
E15 = 15% Ethanol
E85 = 85% Ethanol
E-Free = 0% Ethanol
If you scroll down on the link for the Redline motorcycle oil you want too use it says...
TYPICAL PROPERTIES
API Service Class SJ/SG/SH JASO MA
SAE Viscosity Grade (Motor Oil) 10W40
I would...
Very thick oil, I would NOT. Stock oil is 5W-40
Good to know.
Nope, never have. I would not recommend rotating the back with the front though :roflblack: not sure if people are swapping fronts from side to side, I myself do not, and don't see a point, in...
I wish they would have shown more detail installing the front wheels, & how they torqued the nut's. Or maybe they don't want us to see :dontknow:
Had a feeling, but you know what happens when you assume :cheers:
Love the way you put that! As I still question how they consider a Slingshot a trike legally (Yes, I know it only has 3 wheels).
Only in A edited video.
The styling, and riding position. Then I might consider buying one (along with a couple years in manufacturing to get the kinks out).
A lot of time goes into that even with 2 people.
Yet people complain dealers charge to much for set up :dontknow:
I went to a Factory Honda engines service school I would say about 10 years ago for my dealership. They were talking about all the EPA stuff that is on their engines from restrictor caps on...
I see your point (and ChicagoSpyder). I must not have caught onto the type of situation being explained (Sorry for that).
I might just choose. to call AAA though sounds like your waiting either...
The point others are trying to make is it's torqued to 221 Ft lbs. (Corrected sorry!!!) That is why they reference a torque wrench / breaker bar. You would never be able to get that nut off torqued...
Most auto engines are aluminum I thought nowadays :dontknow:
Instead of driving to the dealer an hour and a half just order it online from a dealer since you only need to "top it up"
Use whatever brand and blend synthetic or semi synthetic oil you would like. Just make sure it meets the oil specs found in your owners manual. You could have done this while it was still under its...
I find it interesting that you say the Ninja is faster, but not as much as you expected.
My last Suzuki GSXR600 redlined I believe at 17,500 and I could easily get about 95 MPH out of just 2nd...
I think OEM companies in the power sports industry from time to time tend to "stick" the dealers with too much product. In my area in WI I can say in the last 20 years I know Arctic Cat has done...
Not necessarily true, you know what happens when you assume!
I would just call the dealer and ask them to find out if they come filled or do they do it in final setup. I own a power equipment...
If my memory serves me right I recall a Can-Am promotional video that they put out with one of their engineers who work on the Ryker talking about the seating position and or low center of gravity...
Ounce again 110% :agree: its like you are pulling my thoughts out of my head!
110% :agree:
If your owners manual says 87 is ok, then run it!
Either the engine doesn't have that high of a compression ratio or the computer can compensate for the lack of octane, either or your fine with...
