I can see spending 5 grand on a turbo setup for a $40,000 vehicle but as much as I want one, Im having a hard time spending 5 grand for a turbo on a $15000 vehicle.
I have over 4000 flawless miles on my 215/35 ZR 17's, only about a half inch taller than stock but 2 inches wider. Handling is greatly improved, i actually reduced the preload on my front springs....
Over 4,000 flawless miles on 215/35 ZR 17 tires mounted to 17 X 7 1/2" wheels, on interstate, city streets, and West Virginia country back roads at speeds up to 110mph. Sorry about the quality of the...
Is it me or does the price keep going up and up and up? I'm pretty sure when I first looked at the unit last summer is was around $550, then this winter it was around $650 and now I see it is $757.
I live near Wheeling, WV, about an hour south of Pittsburgh, probably about 2 hours from I-80. I would be interested in getting involved.
Bought spring #155 for $1.20 at hardware store and it fit perfectly, thanks.
Wow, the resolution is incredible.
MCcruise should maintain speed regardless of how hilly or mountainous the road but I just checked the price at Spoiledbiker.com and it has went way up. $680 is out of my reach for cruise. I just...
I haven't got one yet but from all of those on here who have posted there opinion on the MCcruise cruise control, I'm sold. A throttlelock might work great on level ground but it's too inconsistent...
I've seen several owners make their own extensions to move the rear pegs forward and down. Is anyone working on a production setup to relocate the rear pegs. I sat back there to see what my wife...
No problems at all. My second best mod. I love my exhaust just a hair more. I've gotten so many inquiries from others wanting a set I decided to put these on ebay to see if anybody is really...

Rims, Tires, and Adapters.
My page 104 of the owners manual is vehicle identification but I see it on 108. Looks like the same page as in the shop manual.
The factory shop manual also says "87 or higher", not maximum 87, or 87 or lower. I couldn't find regular unleaded in the owners manual, only "unleaded gasoline Minimum Octane Rating 87". I'm...
My 2008 shop manual, BRP part#219 100 283 only has 479 pages but on page 473 it says "octane 87 or higher".
There's been a lengthy discussion about fuel octane and the Spyder but what about the quality of the gas.
Is the only difference between regular and premium the octane rating or is premium a better...
I wasn't making a statement I was asking a question! Am I wasting my money putting more oil in if the spyder is designed to run at the minimum level?
If "higher octane gas and better performance has...
Where are you guys reading that BRP recommends "87 octane" and that it was designed to run on "87 octane". The factory service manual states a "Minimum 87 octane". It doesn't say it's designed to...
The Kuhmo's work great on the front but I don't have enough miles on them to know how well they are going to wear.

The bolt pattern of the stock wheels is 3 on 3.537 inches. I don't remember the hub center size but the wheels are centered by the lugnuts, not the hub. I don't know the offset of the stock wheels ...
That's just the picture. I haven't checked or changed the alignment.

How does the VSC system know there is a wider tire on the spyder?
If the bike is made with certain tested configurations why isn't the lighting adequate?

Duh, I didn't think it was worth trying to explain. If you don't understand now, you never will, but for those of you who can relate, the handling is phenominal. The steering is so much mor precise...

I forget the exact size but I had a local shop flare the end and then I cut slots in it, like the stock exhaust has, to allow the band clamp to do it's job. I didn't use the stock gasket. I used...
