Never mind...I figured it out...push the clip to unlock the prongs and pull up with some force. That was my problem...I was babying it.

I wanted to know how to remove the backrest listed above. Since it popped right in, shouldn't it just pop right back out? I've tried to remove mine by a sideways spring-loaded clip under the seat but...
