I investigated multiple thousands of accidents in my 37 year police career ..... and I was a trained and court certified accident expert .... sorry but I'm not buying 120 mph or anything close ........

Nope ..... if you plan to follow BRP's recommendation to ROTATE tires ( which is a WASTE of time and money ) then you will have to un-mount and switch rims to do it .......Mike :thumbup:
Well I just went to the " TIRERACK " and they Have 165/65-14 ( which is the same as " P165/65-14 ) ..... Vredestein has other 14 in. sizes that will work great .... try Vulcan tire or Simple tire...

Quite awhile back I checked out tires Specifically for trailers ... There are quite a range available in various sizes ..... and strengths based on number of PLIES .... they have Radial types also...
I read all the other posts ...... my air bag system had a leak when it was new ..... a leak in a hose connection .... fixed under warranty ..... try checking the PSI in the bag after you ride and see...
Check their website .... I think the Utopia is approx. $150.00 + less expensive the OEM backrest which isn't as adjustable ...... good luck .... Mike :thumbup:
If you have a BASIC RT it may Not have auto ride control ( my basic 14 RT didn't ) ....without Auto Ride Control it has no function .....jmho .... Mike :thumbup:
I have the same year RT ..... for max comfort consider a driver backrest .... I have owned 3 Spyders and a bunch of GoldWings .... and I put " Utopia " backrests on all of them ..... most adjustable,...

To also clarify ... a Lok-tited bolt that has been Properly threaded into a threaded nut or whatever ... CANNOT strip the threads upon removal ... if the lok-tite is so strong it can't be removed the...
This occurs from the Excessive use of lok-tite by BRP ..... if you have a soldering iron you can heat the head and it will help removal ..... lok-tite will not cause a bolt to " strip ", you might...

It would be nice if they might actually do that .... but I doubt it .... Spyder tire sizes are becoming obsolete today .... there are quite a few REALLY sweet tires out there but not in our sizes...
