No... you do not pull the existing weights off.
Ride-On balanced my tires when the Service Dept. couldn't. I highly recommend it.

Why would you assume there was no test drive? When I bought my 3rd RT-L, I drove it over 100 miles to get home... and then put another 1000 miles on it within the week... and no problems. Until...

93 octane but I'm going to try some non-ethanol on my next fill up. Getting 35 mpg on my '14 RT-L with mostly Interstate miles.
I dont think there's anything I can add that others haven't already said except that make sure your wired connections are good.
Pairing devices seems to be an art form. Throw in another manufacters...
Stunning! I'm a huge fan of LEDs and your theme rocks!
Of course, my avatar doesn't really care for it though. :doorag:
A place in Slidell sells gel pads for motorcycles and I'll try that out too...but for me, it's more about riding position. I could stand to be 2-3 inches further back. That's why I'm leaning toward...
we are fortunate to have a Can Am Certified Master tech in Hattieburg but I usually still get a second opinion.
This forum is helpful for that! :2thumbs:
This.
when I started with my first Spyder, I took curves painfully slow. Now I zip through them without little regard (but within reason of course... Being aware I'm not on a crotch-rocket).

I'm going to try some non-ethanol gas on my next tank.
Also, I know keeping track of it on every fill up helps me to be more cognizant of driving habits.
+1!!!
You anit lyin'! Having owned an '11 and a '13, the first thing I do when I get off my '14 is try to mash down that button... only to be disappointed when it doesn't go anywhere. /rant

I have a Sena 20s... and I LOVE it. A bit on the pricey side but of all the BT units I researched, this one paired nicest with the iphone and did everything I needed it to do. There's a LOT of...
I've yet to hit 40 mpg and to say I'm not an aggressive drive is an understatement.
Do you use the Eco-Assist? I'm beginning to have my doubts about it's function.
Or maybe it's just this...
I'm not sure that you're doing anything wrong. I've noticed a significant drop in MPG when I increase my cruising speed to 75 mph instead of 70.
Also, how many miles are on the Spyder? What...
I posted a similar experience and I think I'm leaning toward the Ultimate Seat (tallboy). Russell Day Long seats looked pretty good too and I haven't found anyone to say something bad about them.
Congrats on the purchase! Cognac is a great color!
It was great! Here's a few pictures from the event.

Thanks everyone! I rode about 116 miles today with no trouble. Appreciate all the feedback!
Thanks for replying. After I took the rock out, I took it around town (about 15 miles) going from 0-60mph. No change in the hole yet.
*sigh*
I caught a rock in the belt and it punctured. Sprockets are fine, no damage there. I was able to remove the rock.
My dealer has ordered me a new belt but what do ya'll think...is this ok...
I used the one for motorcycles:

Gorgeous color! Congrats on the purchase.
Just like a bagel is a delievery system for cream cheese, your Spyder is a great excuse to get cool farkles! Good luck!

A friend turned me on to Ride On. Even after re-balancing the tire and a laser alignment... I still had a slight wiggle in tire. Installed 9oz of Ride On into each front tire and the problem...
All I can say is that when Bush was President... we didn't have Spyder fires and garages blowing up. Thanks *****!! :roflblack:
Edit: It's funnier after I read it... because it bleep out our...
That was a joke. I'm actually agreeing with you. Guess it didn't translate well.
I completely disagree with you PMK... I mean, if there was ANY evidence or past experience with heat issues or Spyder's catching on fire, I would... oh.... wait a minute.
Anyway, OP...
That makes sense. Thanks!

No. Will look them up. Thanks.
Congrats! I had Seal Floorboards on my first Spyder (2011 RT-S blue) and my biggest regret was not taking them off before I sold the bike. :banghead:
I'll need to make a decision soon and I've looked at both specs. But if you have any experience with either one, I'd like to hear from you.
