My question is what if you are using Federal...
And way longer, too
.
I'm about an hour closer, over in Canton, just west of Asheville. Was late in replying. Only two hours away. If you want to ride over, I'll install sway bar for free. ( O.k, maybe for a can of...
You ride a Ryker too? Wasn't going into burning buildings dangerous enough?
Just make sure your phone/tablet/computer battery has a full charge!
I have the links installed. Now can I just buy the bar at a reduced price?
I agree with Peter also, if for no other reason than to read another 4000 word dissertation from him on all things Spyder!
Maggie is my back yard. Right now, N.C is pretty much in a "mandatory mask" mode, but each day I see plenty of bikes at the hotels/lodges. Looking forward to seeing you this year!!!
Hope I don't ruffle any feathers here, but I don't "log in" very often. Unless I have a question, I just like to see whats going on on the forum.
But even just to look around, or lurk as some...
I have to keep submitting also, but on my ladies tablet, it lets me right in. What up?
Wondering for the future. Does anyone use a Harbor Freight tire changer? What needs to come off of the rear rim to put it on a changer? I know the belt sprocket comes off, but what about the center...
Thanks, Navydad. I think I heard CoachBob say something about it on YouTube. Have to check again. Was just curious.
The SM transmission (ie manual) operates just like a regular motorcycle tranny. It does NOT downshift for you and WILL stall the engine if you don't hold the clutch in.
I remember your first post on...
Hi, all. 2019 RTL. I've seen some of the walk arounds on You Tube that say it has a "hill holder assist feature, but can't find anything in the owners manual about this. Anyone? (And please don't...
Good advice. What has to come off of the rear wheel to get it to fit over the post on a harbor freight type tire changer? Do the BEARINGS have to come out? Wondering for the future.
After all, we need time to read our safety cards, don't we?
I wait to start. When I had Harley's, I was told that starting before the checks are complete might lead to sluggish operation.
It's a strong self adhesive. You would need a hair dryer to get it off.
I thought the delay allowed the system to "self check" everything before starting.
Thanks PMK. I guess I should have been more clear in my question. I most certainly would not subject a cold, or even hot motor to this method. I was simply wondering if anyone used it to get some...
Anybody using the wide open throttle method to get some oil to the upper end after winter storage? Just curious.
You're Welcome. This stuff is relatively unknown in the wax world. It's more of a wax/sealant that literally seals in the shine. Use a very small amount, as they say too much will streak. I've tried...
Last year at the Maggie Rally, I met a lovely lady who was wiping her F3 off, and asked her what she used. She said F-11 topcoat. I took her over to my RT Ltd and told her to run her nails over it....
Am pleasantly surprised this thread I started is still pulling comments. My initial post was to see if I could somehow cancel the "feeling" of the sideways g-force we experience when we corner. 50...
Welcome, Barender! When the spring comes, get'cha up here to the Blue Ridge Pkwy & the Maggie Valley area. Great ridin and lots of twisties to learn how to handle that beast.
I have the Oxford...
Haven't been on for awhile. Thanks, Realtor, and all who responded to my thread. I just want to reiterate that my "problem" was just the FEELING of the G forces we encounter when we go into a turn....
Thanks for your input, Idaho. I do understand the principles of vector algebra, as I am one of those "analytical" guys who seem to figure out the reasons for why things do what they do.
As I said ...
Many thanks to all who responded. Was up on the Blue Ridge today and did pretty well. Seem to like left turns more than right. I'll get there.(May be late, but I'll get there.)
Hope to see you ALL...
BTW, does anybody know if I can bring my leashed dog to the rally?
Sorry, but that passenger is glued to that seat! She loves it back there and has no trouble leaning/ holding on. We are both very relaxed when we ride- just slow in curves.
Thanks-Al
