I can only guess you are not a happy camper by the insults you keep throwing!
If you took the time to read my original post I did ask … 'has anyone else thought to try it?' … ' You can't fix...
So after a bazillion prototype, revamps for the wheel supports of each mud guard / fender 'trial', the fit finally came to fruition today … Mainly thanks to my two trusty advisers ….

Apologise up front … I have no clew as to what PB&J is !
IMO … most anything that reduces heat, drag and friction has got to be a good thing (within reason)
If in doubt very gingerly try touching your drive belt after a modest run just too see how hot...
Cheers David … I guess it comes from to many years playing with aircraft …. If your not prepared to put your butt in the passenger seat, then don't sign it off ! … simplz !
We don't get a choice in Australia … no such thing here as not having fenders / mud guards …. if there not on it, we can't drive or ride it on a public road. Bearings will be no problem providing...
Definitely no adventurism or constructive analysis found here … yet again !
Each to their own then ...suit yourselves ...
Has anyone else thought to use Teflon / silicone spray on their Spyder's drive belt ?
I just thought I'd put it out there ! I've been using it on others now the Spyder for the past 6 months and...
I used to use it with another vehicle as a sign it was time to do an oil change … Change the filter and oil and up the viscosity slightly and I bet it'll make a world of difference.
Would not surprise me at all if the site has a 'web host' or something similar who decides this stuff and not Lamont these days ..
Today was all about building 1 pair of custom standoff spacers, made for just the one side of the new guards / fenders mounting / attachment points near the actual wheel hubs.
After close...
My left leg and its associated prosthetic has been playing up something shocking for the passed couple of days so I could only get going back on things today, all be it in my wheel chair for the time...
From the little bit of riding I have done on it since … it feels firm and sure footed … Having said that, I'm hoping to get it in for a wheel alignment earlier this coming week!
Exactly PMK, exactly!
Had the remapping done by Monster back in March 2018 for my 2017-F3T …
The thing now pulls like a train with absolutely no dead spots what so ever … The difference is amazing … Best value for $$$...
Just as an aside ? here's the maths that goes into the wheel change between sizes ? Just maintain the front to back differential and nanny is happy ! This sort of thing can be found for doing the...
Seems like there has been millions of things happening during the passed few months, so the Spyder's mods have been on the back burner ?
Finally just this week, I thought I'd strike a blow as the...
Thanks Mike … (and say no more !)
Here are three good reasons why I KNOW I can do this by modifying, building and adapting a version of the Polish ‘Swenker’ side car setup ......
Appreciate your thoughts Tim … My only problem with the suggestion is I am based in Queensland Australia … However, I will still have sniff about and see if he has anything listed on the web .....
Agreed … the world needs more laughter !
If its the same as my 2017 F3-T … its found under the pillion seat and used to adjust the rear shock ride height for various loads … fat - fatter or Ouch that hirts! :yikes:
:agree: …. and totally … from another more than happy F3-T brother!:yes::yes::yes:
Welcome .. really hope you enjoy your Spyder as much as I do mine!
I wanted the same thing on my 2017 F3-T but for very different reasons a few months back. I poked prodded measured and even got out a set of verniers to measure the different areas of the F3 bars …...
Quite respectfully asked …" Cat delete with a resonator, three in line baffles with an open after market exhaust.. Really nice rumble cackle for deceleration. Pretty quiet down low and not too loud...
Spend a few dollars rip the ECU out and sent it off to Monster for a remap … Just explain what you are after and you will be amazed with the results … all but guaranteed promise!:doorag::joke:
Mate that's what I was originally aiming and planning for …. that is until I found out he is over $200 AUD more expensive than everything combined including freight to and from Canada to Monster...
I, like stacks of others on here use my cars GPS by alternate fitting it up to my 2017 F3-T .... (its a TomTom but other brands work just as well) on the inside of its windscreen.
