No, you are not he only one!
I have the RT-Ltd. Brown seat. Has anyone with the brown seat used a black or chrome door assembly? Any photos you can share?
Thank you! Now fixed.

Can you give a link to the seller / ad, please?
I can't really answer your question or give any instructions, but I can say that I have a 2013 RT LTD with the new "recall" scoops, and if installed correctly (like the full dealer recall install)...
What year is your Spyder? What grills do you refer to?
^^^ I have those same questions.
Well, the one in the video at least has pretty good (functional) looking air cooling intake vents on the side. A little larger than the upgrade vents on my 2013 Spyder - LOL!
Very nice work, looks great!
Amen!
I have 4 that run anytime I'm not using what they are attached to. A great product.
I made a DIY mud flap for my 2013 RT-L. I saw a photo of one for a Harley, and made a pattern close to what I saw, and that I thought would fit the RT. I ordered a 3/16" x 12" x 12" piece of rubber...
Here's how I lifted mine for an oil change... two car ramps and a floor jack with a block of wood under the center frame.

I don't have foot pegs, but here's a link to my DIY Right Foot Heat Shield.... http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?84509-Hot-Foot-Heat-Deflector

Maybe I'm a lucky one too, and got a great 2013. After the heat recall, it's even better. My Spyder is bone stock... except for a DIY mudflap and a DIY heat shield for the right foot... oh yeah, and...
Got'er done!...
I just did my first oil change today. Those oil filter caps, especially the engine oil filter require a LONG 5 mm (allen type) wrench or try to get the socket type and a long ratchet wrench...
Thanks.
My plan was to get everything off, take her for a ride and warm up the oil, then get it in the air and drain the oil.

I tried searching but didn't find what I needed. Sorry, if this is an old topic.
I started taking off side panels for an oil change and...
JB Weld may also work for you. I had a post/tab break off the removable piece above that, and I used JB weld. It's now stronger than it was from the factory.
Mine stays in my new 12x16 toy garage, attached to the rear of the main garage. It's now insulated.

Thanks for the info, I'll try that instead of using the stupid switch that hardly ever works!
My Spyder and ATVs are always on the BT if they aren't on the road.
I'll admit that several times I've had problems resetting "A".
Lately I'm having more problems setting the cruise button. They sure need to make it with an insdent, or click, or something....
How about making a deflector : http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?84509-Hot-Foot-Heat-Deflector
Glad you figured something out!
My material is only about 1/16" thk. so it was easy to just get a small pointed phillips head screw about 1/4" long and using a fat handled short screw driver, I just...
Not trying to hijack this post, but I have a mirror question.
After having the mirrors off only about 3 times (by the dealer twice and me once), they seem to be a little loose, and move up and...
