Are there any Spyder riders in the Las Vegas area?
I left my Spyder sit at work overnight. I arrived the next morning, it started normal and has started everyday.
I bought my '14 RT L new, I have about 30k miles and it now has a Dess code.
I live in Greatfalls Mt, any suggestions?
The bike was in neutral, I just released the parking brake and it started when I pushed the switch.
I went to start my Spyder the normal way, and after pressing the starter switch it didn't even click or crank like the battery was dead. After releasing the brake and then attempting to start did it...
Air Hawk R is the way to go. I have had my Air Hawk r for over 2 years, my wife finally got hers last month.
As said before, they work better with less air. It changes the pressure points every time...
Enjoy, the sway bar is great.
Looks great.
I been way too close to lightning way too many times. All my crew chief buddies in the Air Force call my Lightnin' LeeRoy and it stuck.
I am proud to tell anyone and everyone I ride a Spyder.
They are becoming more and more popular here in Montana.
Lightnin' LeeRoy, cause it's quick like Lightning and me!!!
I didn't get the skid plate, but I did have the sway bar installed. The swaybar makes a big difference in the handling especially in corners.
If bringing a Bottle of Jack, make it the big one.

I also have a 14" RT L, I don't have chrome mounts. I have never had any issues with glare.
I picked up my Spyder today, they changed out the start up relay. After they had it in the shop overnight, the dash went to normal.
He still changed out the start up relay anyhow, under warranty....
Mine is being installed this week!!!
I also use the Airhawk R
I also don't use the straps.
I bought a Butler cup before I even heard of Spyder lovers or there sponsors, along with it comes a place to mount numerous other attachments.

Sunday 4 Spyders rode to Choteau MT from Great Falls just for breakfast. Had a great ride, a little windy, but good.
Then I rode mine to Tues. & Weds., now its in the shop getting a few things done....
Well, I took my Spyder in to have it looked at. He said he hadn't heard of it either, but said he figure it out.
They are going to do the laser align as well.
I removed the key numerous times, I haven't done any wiring at all.
I went out this morning, the dash was still white and the left handlebar lights were still on.
It started just fine, I noticed...
Rode the Spyder to work today, after I got home and put the Spyder in the garage, Spyder shut down normal, except the dash went a plain white color and the controls on the left handlebar stayed on. I...
I ordered mine, should be soon.
It's about 20 F here in GreatFalls, about to take my Spyder for a ride then of to work.

Did you order one?
I built my own trailer out of a 40" by 48" flat bed trailer. Put 2' sides on it and a cover.
I don't have any trouble backing it, but I tow airplanes for a living, been doing it since 1977.
I only...
I haven't rode in weather like that on the Interstate, but I have ridden on the side roads a few times snowing and temps down to 10 F.

I have been using 87 octane in my '14 RT L since new. I only have 4000 miles on this one, I put over 7000 miles on my '12 RT S.
Of course my '14 has way more get up and go, but even with the '12, I...
Congratulations on the Spyder purchase, I am sure you and your wife will enjoy it.
We have a '14 RT L. With any luck, I may be able to get mine back on the road next week.
Living in Montana can...
The biggest reason I say, is the Spyder is the safest bike or trike on the road.
Other reasons would be stability and comfort along with others as mentioned above.

I ain't quite in my 60's, but I sure enjoy riding my Spyder on trips. I still ride my smaller Hondamatics back and forth to work when weather permits.
My wife only wants to ride with me when I take...
