I totally agree! Why "share" your music with the public? Especially at low speed or at a stop light, some motorcycle riders blast their music, just like some cars, which can be obnoxious.
You're correct, engine heat dissipates from the glove box. After a ride, I pull out the compartment to help cool.
I agree, Genius is a dunce when it comes to navigation!!
F3 clamp all the way! That's what I used, works without any further modifications, wiring harness is long enough!
I have the same Spyder, great color!!
2020 Spyder RT Limited, Petrol Blue, bought in April 2020. I'm having difficulty uploading photos, unfortunately!:banghead:
Hello, I purchased a 2020 RTL in Petrol Blue, I traded my 2013 RTL, and have NO regrets! The new RTL is vastly improved, this is my first 1330, I had the 998 twin in my 2013. The new Spyder is so...
Congratulations and welcome! I bought a 2020 RTL this year also, traded my 2013 RTL. A huge improvement!
I feel your pain, 2020 Spyder RTL. I just had the same issue. Genius maps is actually a dunce in the gps/navigation area. Sygic is better, but the connectivity issues with my Cardo Freecom 2 unit...
:agree:The manual is your friend.
That's great! It's good to hear BRP getting kudos for once! It sounds like the firmware update brings your BRP Connect up to 2020, which is great. BRP connect can be temperamental, but I have...
Hi Mike, thanks for the information, very helpful! I just traded my 2013 Spyder RTL for a 2020 RTL, but I still look at potential issues. Your advice is very good; if I were the gentleman with the...
Hi, thanks for the insight, I forgot about the mode of operation, I use Genius maps for that reason, and Google/Apple maps can also download a route to your smartphone. Thanks! :agree:
The 2020 BRP connect is glitchy, but I have to say I haven't had as many problems as some here with earlier models. I bought Genius maps, which works well, but I can also run Apple or Google maps...
I put on Rox risers and an F3 handlebar clamp, which eliminates the need to snip or cut anything. Original wire harness is more than adequate, nothing else needed.
Congratulations!
I simply bypassed buying a GPS and I use Genius maps, I paid for the app and software, it works offline with your smartphone, and it even works on my F150 with Synch.
Same here, nice of BRP to cover my new Spyder for free!
Update: Returned the Sena units, and purchased Cardo freecom 2+ Duo. Better sound, an app that works, and better ergonomics in my opinion.
I did the same modification on my 2020 RTL, and also added the LED auxiliary light.

My Petrol Blue 2020 RTL
You're covered by BRP, I just purchased a 2020 RTL last month.

My 2020 Spyder RT Limited in Petrol Blue.
Safety first! Whenever possible AVOID riding close to big semis! Also if they are doing 80-90 mph YOU SHOULDN'T BE! A Spyder is great, the 2020 is superb, I came over from a Harley Ultra Classic, ANY...
Nice! I have the same color, may I ask you what brand of tires you have on the front wheels? Not the stock Kendas.
2020 Spyder RT Limited, Petrol Blue, bought April 28th. 181379
A wider brake pedal, lol, my new Spyder's brake pedal is much wider than my old 2013, love that I don't have to mod it.
My next modification!
Update: If I can get the app to work, changing the device's name wiill solve the problem , fingers crossed on that!
