what we went through and others going through now is F3 saddlebags. The mold of left side is defected.

Avoid Corbin bags. Go to Corbin $2000 defected bags post for info.

any gaps or exactly as right hand side? Does it securely lock or looks locked but when you pull it up it will open ?
look at pictures posted above, and compare with yours....

I was on the seat for 3 hours of all types of rain ( drizzle, mist pouring rain, etc.) with NO issue al all.
i also had 460+ miles in one day, and it was comfortable..
