True that. I wonder about the placebo effect.
Mine leaks pretty badly. Going to ask the dealer about this.
IMO, the full cover is a PITA. I bought one and rarely use.
Make absolutely certain your tire pressures are up. There can be a world of difference in the stability of the handling.
I live in NJ and am looking for a dealer or service center who would do a cat delete (and my guess is a power commander install and tune to readjust the fuel ratio).
My dealer will not make...
I have a 14 RTS. Judging by the ad, it won't fit, right?
Yes, I believe that must be it.
Should it be glued on?
I've been getting rain leaking into the frunk of the '14 RTS. Can happen when riding or even when parked in the open during a rain. I wondered if anyone had experienced a similar problem and what...
I went thru the exact same thing with my knees. (I wore out four Harleys.) Compared all the trikes and liked the Spyder the best.
Every one has to make their own choices. I came out of the Harley world and I can assure you the protocol there is "No way." You can hear it run. I can even demonstrate a ride while you watch. ...
My issue with all but the Corbins is that they do nothing to hold the passenger from sliding sidewards. This would be my main reason for buying them; that they offer some lateral support.
I have a 2014. I couldn't go 75 miles on the stock seat. Switched over to an Ultimate Tall Boy and went 350 miles on Saturday. I never even thought about my arse. That said, I wore out four...
I have a new 14 and discovered everything in the frunk gets soaked after rain or washing.
The Tall Boy seat makes a big diff. Personally, the highway pegs are a nice product but they don't fit my body or style at all. I don't use them, ever.
Some dealers are reluctant to do mods like this. Is there a list of places that will do these mods for you?
Dropped about a quarter in the past couple months. Still about double what they were six years ago.
Your guideline here is the feet touching. I would rig up something so his feet could touch, and someone, somewhere, makes some sort of belt you wear around yourself that gives them a built in handle...
I have a 2014 RTS. I don't know the model year of your trailer. Maybe that's not even an issue: I don't know. Do you know the year? And do you know if there are needed wiring harnesses?
The rub for me is finding someone to do the retrofit work.
I wore out three Harleys. Today, my knees are shot; runs in the family. It was either give up riding or go three wheeler. I compared the Spyder, the Honda Trike and the TriGlide. My assessment? ...
Quite a few shippers out there. Harley used to recommend an outfit but I forget who it was. Since Harley's are the heaviest bikes, the shipper really needs to know their stuff about safe tie downs.
Glad to hear it. One thing I'd sure like to see is legitimization / legalization of aftermarket products without having to worry (WARNING: THIS MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND CAUSE DEATH!) every time...
Thanks. I will look into it. But I'll be darned if I can locate the battery in the manual.
Ah, thank you!
Just got a new 14 RTS Ltd. I can't find in the manual the location of the battery. I'd like to set up an exposed battery tender plug. Anyone do this? Thanks!
And I just did the opposite. After many years on a Harley dresser, I sold it and got a 14 RT. I am happy with it.
I agree that the steering is a bit too sensitive. I wish it were a little less so. Some may say I'm out of alignment. And that may be true but I find it sad you have to spend money to fix a brand...
I'm from south Jersey. Hop over to take that Rt 9 once or twice a year. It's a nice ride. I got my RT at J&J in Elsmere, DE.
There's that stupid "have you read the safety manual" question that you have to wait for before starting the engine. This is sooooooooooo dumb!
Has anyone heard of a bypass to this?
Who is this PitBull? I've tried finding them on the web with no luck. And Lamonster Garage does not show this bypass either.
