Nope, they do not revert. If you leave the bike in gear it will not start unless you hold in the clutch. If you have the bike in neutral the bike will start without making you hold in the clutch....

I agree!! I do all my own service and would be more then happy to help out others and even do the change for you and show you how to do it for a few bucks but I don't want the liability issues.

I assume this was some kind of aftermarket kit, not from BRP? In that case you need to be carefull, certain ballasts won't play well with the spyder.
