Sounds like voltage regulator/rectifier and that's probably cause of the rest of your electrical issues.
Anyone know how this could even happen?
Just glad that it looks like I found all of the pieces of the washer/plate. Going to do a flush and get some magnetic gold plugs before I run it just in case.
Pulling out the clutch to put in the new Barnett kit and found this. Was wondering if these disks are factory or not. Possibly installed wrong before and chewed up this support disk.72728
Bearing ID on the sprocket is 30mm not 33mm
Found a 2013 microfiche and the nozzle part # 420456252. Just need to know if I needs any other parts and if I need an extra disk/plate the Barnett kit comes with 9 friction discs and 10 steel plates.
Getting a new set of clutch plates and springs. Still looking for the new oil sprayer nozzle part #. Also are there any other parts I should get before I tear it down ie: gaskets, diaphram?? etc...
Clutch has been fine for the 14,000 miles I put on it last year. Also been running AmsOil. Like I said it just didn't like the smoke show. Thinking that the tire got hot and grabbed the pavement and...
Anyone ever have the clutch slip like that and then go away? I got the Spyder so mad at me it went into limp home mode.
I believe the clutch update was done. I've been trying to find the part# for the new oil jet though.
$500 is a little steep for a clutch pack seeing how I just did some in a 1200 sportster and a Suzuki 1000r and neither guy had over $200 in the kit including gaskets. Was wondering if anyone knew of...
You should shift higher than that these motors love rpm and you're not going to hurt anything by revving it. If your worried about speed keep it in a lower gear.
Not saying this is the problem but a guy I work with bought a 2010 rs SE% and lots of problems the first cpl months. Then we for a ride and his acted up a little so had him ride my SM5. ZRestarted...

Salesman told my buddy that his rss would corner better than my rs/gs because his 2011 rss has a better sway bar ???
I hit a deer on the spyder at 65mph, after swerving and missing the first few over the guardrails and it sold me on the safety of this thing. More stable in situations like that and as far as people...
Is the Hindle exhaust repack-able, after 16,000 miles on it it's getting a little louder than I want for late night (around midnight) rides from work back home.
I have the CHAD and it works great but thinking of venting the shield to help with fuel fumes when I let off the throttle. My sport touring works pretty well on the Chad mount also for shorter trips.
niander99 get yourself a cricket tool and set the belt tension to a lower spec. I think they have your belt way to tight if it's squealing. I have my belt set at 115lbs with the smoothspyder...
Any idea on what the trailer itself weighs with no cover? I've been throwing the idea around in my head trying to trailer my GNCC prepped Can-am DS450 to a couple of races behind my 08 GS/RS.
x2 when I've experienced this it was always the nanny micro babysitting, a little too much throttle or some sand on the road and I'd get the nanny light.
I got progressive $188 a year for full coverage $250 deductable, and had a pretty easy claim experience when I hit a deer and they got me $3,100 as soon as the dealer had the quote done. I figure I...
Yes that is what it was ambient air connector was still tucked up in framework.
