About how much extra reach does the adjustable kit get you?
I'd like about 3-4" closer reach to relax my arms a bit more when cruising and I want to lean back in the seat a bit more, but whenever...
Closing in on 750 miles, got mine about 2 months ago.
Took my bike out for its first longer ride with twisty roads up in the mountains nearby. About 120 miles, nearly half of them with curves, most of the rest highway. Actually had the space to try...
Seriously, that's how they get you hooked.
I went to the local one near me just to see what riding on 3 wheels was like, and next thing I know a big green Spyder is living in my garage...
Picked up and installed driver backrest, my dealer happened to have one in stock. Took me about 20 minutes to install it in their parking lot (part of that time was downloading the instructions,...
I have a couple Sony Actioncams (similar mounting to GoPros) that I've used on my previous bikes, and am looking for ways to mount them to my new Spyder, but it doesn't seem to have many good mount...
Same here, though I think of it as paying for the paint and getting the other extras for free ;)
Yeah, I'm not about to start ripping the plastic off of my new toy just yet.
I did get underneath and snapped a pic of the drive belt. It does look like something you described, that little wheel...
I'm not sure what to look for to check for the "harmonic vibration eliminator device" to confirm if it's there or not. If it's easy to see, I can try to get a picture to confirm.
The Front...
I can confirm that it is not standard. I just went out to the garage and took a look at mine, plain stock non-adjustable handlebars.
I ran into problems with this today as well. (I'm still new to Spyder riding, but this specifically shouldn't be so difficult)
When I started, I was able to get everything paired up: bike, phone...
I saw one at my local dealer. I liked the green, so I had to take it home with me :riding:
It's fun so far, but I haven't ridden enough to get a good intuitive feel for it yet. Just the (slightly) scenic ride home from the dealership last night.
I did notice a bit of wobble on the left...
Brought home my new Spyder! 187713187714
Attended a Can-Am test-ride event at my local dealer. Used the $500 bonus incentive from it and made a down payment on a new Sea-to-Sky RT. Need to wait for the banks to open during the work week...
Not your event, but looks like I found the CA team's local event. Going to a Spyder test ride this weekend for my first 3-wheel experience. Looking forward to it!
