I installed the gel inserts over the winter. I have ridden about 1,200 miles now on the modified OEM seat with the inserts. For me and the wife, the seat is almost harder and we both actually prefer...
Sorry, you bought the wrong model number. See the discussion at (scroll down to #30):

Harbor Freight has a couple of jacks...
Thanks Pam!!
Hi Pam... How 'bout an update on your brake job. Did it happen yet and how smooth did it go for you? :dontknow:

I just used regular car ramps. Removed the frunk (not that hard) and had easy access with no problems. It's much easier to work on when the frunk is off.
I hate to say this, but... find a new dealer. The local dealer near me (8 minutes) is booking 2 weeks out, just to look at a Spyder. I recently had a DPS warning and limped in. When I went back out...
No worries. There is a ton of information discussed here and it can be difficult to pull it all together sometimes. Many times it can be a blurb in an unrelated topic.
You are absolutely correct,...
Yes, the #61632 does drop quickly. I just tap the foot lever a little and let the Spyder down as easy as possible. After a little practice, I don't have any issues with it.
Depending on what I...
This has been discussed before, so the take-away for me was to measure the clearance needed before I went to H.F. When I got to the store, i measured to make sure I had the right model/item. By...

:agree: Also, if you haven't already, give them a heads up that you are coming as a group. Leave plenty of time in your itinerary for the stop. With so many riders in the area, service will be very...
My thoughts, exactly! Anyone here missing a Zumo 660?
start here?...

or here......
Be sure to get Item #61632. They have a few different items with varying height. Some will not fit underneath the Spyder.

Thanks, Bob. You are one of THE most helpful people on this forum!! :firstplace:

See the pics at the beginning of the thread from Lamonster. Same style lift, different color. If you look under the Spyder, you will see the main frame (square tube) running back to the rear shock...
Yes, there is a difference. The one I posted is a lower profile. Return yours for the correct item.

Harbor Freight has a couple of jacks that look similar. One is a little shorter and fits under the Spyder with no problem. I bought mine a while ago and do not remember the product number. Try...
Not sure how good these are, but others have mentioned them in the past:

BOTH gauges need to be disconnected. You will find a single "free" wire and a plastic cluster of three wires for each gauge. Disconnect all of these on each gauge.
Thanks! My Grandmother is originally from Minto. If I can, I'm going to swing through the town. The trip keeps changing due to time limits. I'll have a blog hooked up for the trip. As I get closer...
As soon as I hit the submit button I realized I should have provided the source. It's from a shop on eBay. Search for "dream catcher spider web patch", or try this link:...
Just got this in the mail today. It's hard to find large (10" x 12") unique Spyder-related patches. While this may not be most folks preference, I thought it was cool. It's going on the back of a...
The digital display only becomes visible after disconnecting the gauges.
I'm scheduled to be in the area for business on Jun 9-11. I may just have to take the Spyder. If you see a guy riding around on an RT in a suit, that will be me! Would love to connect with folks if...
Ken, as was mentioned earlier, BOTH gauges need to be disconnected for the digital to work. Here is what I did with the empty holes after I removed the analogs. The "blank covers" can be ordered from...
Ken... I was just going to say exactly what SpyderAnn suggested. I too have a 2012 RT Ltd. Since using the digital readout, I have had better success and accuracy. When filling up I let the pump...
Hey, Bob! Since somebody just asked about this today, how has the spring held up since you made this modification?
