Congrats....I can only hope my lasts that long.
Very sorry to hear about your tragedy. What ever happened to civility?
Congratulaitons! I only have 99,000 more miles to catch up.:2thumbs:
Only had 1 helmet....full face....NEXX XR1R....fits great and very lightweight.
Had the DPS recall and 600 mile service done at Coleman Powersports in Woodbridge, VA. The service was fast and professional. A HUGE difference in handling since the recall....more responsive. ...
If it wasn't for the Spyder...no chance I would ever ride a two-wheeler....way too dangerous for me IMHO.
Doesn't seem too difficult...however, if someone does change their oil at the 600-mile mark...does the act have any effect on the warranty?
As a brand new rider (only 200 miles so far) how would I know what feels right as far as the steering goes? thanks
Any quoted prices in the MD/VA/DC areas?
That's exactly what my local dealer told me....I don't get it and will not have my bike sitting in a shop for 2+ weeks. I need to find a better dealer in the MD/VA/DC area.
Got my notice yesterday. Called the local dealer and was told as of right now...BRP will only ship a new unit once they receive the old unit...could be up to a 2 week turn around. Kinda...
Looking good!:2thumbs::2thumbs:
Looks great...in fact the entire bike looks cool.
Nice job Chris....the steering seemed effortless in:2thumbs: the turns and you kept up with the sport bikes.
Congrats Dan...I'm only 25k behind you.:shocked:

Welcome.....M GO Blue!:2thumbs::2thumbs:
You guys are too funny.....:roflblack:
What????? You can take the Driver's Test on a Spyder? I just completed the Motorcycle Safety Course (glad I did) this past weekend. No one even mentioned the ability to use the Spyder for the test....
Wish they would come down to the metro Washington, DC area....:bowdown:
My question is.....is it best to let the bike downshift on it's own; manually, or a combination of both?
Just earned by MSF Certificate this past weekend. It's amazing how much I did not/don't know about motorcycling. I should have my Spyder RS-S delivered next week and plan on a long slow learning...
They both look great........but 1 looks more tricked out. IMHO
Very cool...can't wait to order one.
I am taking my MSC next week. Never been on a motorcycle before....but after a year of doing the research (logging onto Spyder Lovers.com everyday) I will be getting a Spyder within the month. I...
That's because your bike is nice.:2thumbs:
thanks to all who replied....after thinking about it, I agree. I'll be looking for a 2010 RS-S (the color is so cool) and hopefully BRP will be giving out BRP $$$$ to begin the "mod" process.
Your bike looks awesome:2thumbs:
Thanks for the reply....I was also thinking of adding a CalSci Windshield; KewlMetal Risers; BRP Bags; and Foot Pegs
Which Spyder are you looking to purchase?
