I think I'll be able to make it.
I'm in too. SM5 01746.
Sounds like a great time. Thanks for taking the time to post everything for us.
You have me drooling over the RT, but I think I'm going to wait on it a bit. The price is just a bit high for me. ...
Apparently I should have done more riding before voting. My Spyder had been running fine, but it ran really badly during the very warm weather we had around here last week. This week I've noticed...
Thanks very much for bringing back the contest. The rules look like they should work well for everyone.
I'm in Lynn. Sounds like there's quite a few of us nearby.
I have very small hands (size 7 gloves) and switched my grips to some gel grips that were even smaller than stock. I hated them. I have the Kury grips now and they're great. I was afraid they'd be...
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget my first dog. It took time, but rather than being sad when thinking about Petey (we didn't name him, he came with the name, really), I smile. Thinking...
Steering is much better. It ran pretty rough for the first couple of rides after the update and even stalled on me once, but it's running just fine at this point. I'd say it was back to normal...
Big ye from me :2thumbs:
Ordered one too. I end up sitting in traffic a lot. I realize a manual switch is cheaper, but I like the idea of just setting a temp threshold and letting the fan kick in before I bake.
I met a guy with an SE5 with a left handed throttle at my dealership. The dealer did the switch for him. Maybe they can give you some information.

I'm afraid to tally mine. It's addictive. I've been really bad about it this summer since all the thunderstorms have been cutting into my riding time and I've had to come up with alternative...
Got mine done today as well. Noticed the difference on the first turn out of the parking lot. I think the steering is significantly better.
Thanks Lamont. I'm seriously considering making the trip.
I just did a quick check and my Hindle is quite noticeably leaking. Since my dealer did the install and I'm heading there on Friday for the steering update anyway, I'll give them a shot at fixing it...
I'm now using a CHAD windshield. The windshield in the earlier photos was the older BRP touring shield. The touring shield was much better than stock, but I still felt pretty beaten on long trips...
Hit the attachment limit on the previous post. Here's a bigger view of the dash area showing the tank bag, cup holder, Starcom1 volume control (left side near risers), and Kury grips.
It's been ages since I've updated this thread, and I've done quite a few mods since then.
I've added a Corbin seat, CHAD, lots of NMN goodies (mudflap lights, Triple Play, Green filter, front turn...
I'm stuck working Saturday as well. Hopefully I can make it next time.
Yes, I bet it would be a quite a bit more painful, especially on the sides of the finger. But it's not a ton of surface area at least, so less skin to be sore. I have a cousin that got a finger...
My husband is lazy. He wants to be comfortable and entertained on the back of the Spyder. Comfy husband = more riding time for me. So anything that makes him ok with skipping the car is good in my...
That was my original idea, but Jamie talked me out of it due to finger tattoos blurring/fading really quickly. I had Jamie put the Celtic knot pattern from my wedding ring around my wrist. Many...
I need to wait for my husband to make up his mind about his tattoo so we can head back up there.
I'd love to have armrests, but I don't like the idea of outward swinging ones for the Spyder. Wouldn't it be better to have ones that rotate up to get out of the way instead of out? Even with a...
Whew. I'm so glad Dee is ok.
I really wish they had photos of both the carbon, metallic, & flame graphic on an actual Spyder. I saw a few other styles on their site, but not those.
RAM mounts are pricey but work very well.

Both are very comfortable. NMN risers are easier to install and a bit cheaper. I also prefer the NMN risers as they are fairly adjustable and don't require relocating the ignition.
Wow, very scary. I'm glad the Spyder protected you so well. From how you described it, it would be fortunate for someone in a car to walk away with no significant injuries, let alone a motorcycle. ...
