I would love to have one of my bikes in TN on vacation, but riding for ten hours on a sport bike is not my idea of a good time. If anything we can take the Spyder and the car from PA to TN and...
Worth a try. Thanks for the info!
What do you think? Could you tow a 400 lb sport bike behind a Spyder?
From my mom. And, I ride a Yamaha FZ-09.
I own two Yamaha sport bikes and right now have a problem with my 2014 still low mile model. I put more miles our RT Spyder and have had no issues with it.
Buy the RT if you want to move to three...
Too funny.
(I saw a bow, by the way)
The husband is getting more comfortable with the Spyder now. He has taken it to work a few times.
We are in Melville, during the week, if anyone wants to ride and get dinner.
For me, it was a breeze, for him, not so much.
I've read a bunch of these threads and my husband and I have debated it.
We both ride two wheels. When I first rode the Spyder, I had no learning curve. It was fine, on the highway, off the...
Happy Birthday!! :)
Not a clue for three wheels. I am as curious as you are!
The BRC class is fun. I do recommend it, especially if you have not been on two wheels.
We bought a 2012 RT this year with 900 miles. You can go used, but I would go lower miles than what you have found and get maintenance records.
You ride the wrong "cages" then.
I have nothing left to offer you (and apparently didn't originally either).
Buy the newest, lowest mile RS you can find. Wait...buy an FZ09. Just do it. Best...
Yes.
It's BS that money doesn't buy happiness :)
Here's another suggestion. Buy a new C7 Corvette. It's more fun than my sport bikes and the Spyder. You will have a hard time getting anyone to test ride one, but go for it. Manual.
I'm half...
I have a Pit Boss that I wore when I had my Harley. I liked it. Some people complain it makes your head look huge. I haven't used it in forever and go Shoei ff now with my track pants, boots, etc.
You gave up your sport bikes for a Spyder? I guess if I physically couldn't ride mine, I would too. Hope you are okay (I don't know your history). If I did get hurt and couldn't ride my Yamahas, I...
I'm in the same position as you now also. Originally, I moved my car out of my garage and put the Spyder there. I traded my Camaro for a much nicer car and now the Spyder is sitting outside. I was...
I've seen none of the road. Any Spyder I see is an RT.
Buy a Ninja 300, Yamaha R3, Honda cbr300?
Sv650, FZ-07, gsx-s...zx6r, GSXR, R6?
You have loads of sport bike possibilities.
Honestly- not as fun as two wheels.
I still really enjoy the Spyder and put many more miles on it compared to my sport bikes. You don't need to worry about road conditions nearly as much, single...
Thanks for producing these!
(1) how much is the discount?
(2) any women's jackets? I'm like 5'5" 115 lbs and don't think the men's ones will fit
Because riding on two wheels is about 100x more exciting than riding a Spyder. I own a Spyder, and I enjoy it, but a Spyder is different than riding two wheels. It's like why a Ferrari is more...
Yes, I agree. If I buy new, I will buy from them. They were great to deal with over the phone. The Spyder I wanted to buy from them had been sold, so we bought private party instead.
They are truly positioning this as a luxury product and are taking a chance by eliminating the lower cost options. Even Mercedes and BMW have cheaper entry-level vehicles, which surprisingly, are...
Bob, keep posting. Everyone else, post as often or as little as you like. Life it too short to worry about things like post count, or to be judged or judge others.
I'm happy you are enjoying the female attention.
Personally, I would be livid if someone sat on my spyder like that.
Day 1 drive home- some guy put his kid on my Spyder, bounced it up and...
I bought a nice camo one for my husband at the dealer. It was around $20.
Tip- if you want to do wheelies or stoppies, get a sport bike. I highly recommend the Yamaha FZ-09. You will wheelie by twisting the throttle. Or, get yourself an R6, GSXR, or ZX6R.
I'm so happy...
Bring it physically with you. I also went to AAA.
