Yes, it removes from the max mount pretty easily with no tools required. It "does" take a bit of muscle, but no tools.

Just to offer the other view, quite happy with my Shad bag. More storage than I personally need, fit and finish are excellent for what it is, love that its easily removable for the majority of times...
$500 over sticker here all in (including taxes, registration, etc..)..... + 10% off of accessories and free installation (including free installation of the 2-up spring).
Also worth adding, because it catches so many new riders.... Always, always, always, look where you want to go... Always...
If you're not familiar with the term, look up target fixation.
If you...
They included a link with the videos in the first post as well. Seeing the offerings isn't the issue, cell phone drive by videos just aren't terribly informative. From their site, its a little hard...
I was confused at first, but "think" I may see where you're going now... so I'll add a few comments for whatever they may be worth.
First off, you shouldn't really be gripping overly tightly with...
Most of the Ryker is plastic.. Its not the same as a matte finish paint (Had a true matte finish on my Ducati Monster, gorgeous, but pain in the rear to keep clean and VERY easy to scratch).
I...
Lift the foot peg (as if you were going to adjust it), then pull outward on the actual brake lever. While pulled out you will be able to rotate it into one of several positions, then push back in and...
Haven't used it on the Ryker yet, but I'm a really big fan of this stuff when my cars don't need a true wash:

Its pretty outstanding. It can also...
It does sound loud, but its always also really hard to tell with what seems to be audio on a cell phone video...
Someone needs to do some side by side testing with stock vs custom, a real mic, and...
Agreed it seems to LIVE for the fast turns...
@rogue hawk, are you referring to having to muscle it through without power steering, or did you actually experience some form of handling problems?

Decided to install the BRP one this weekend after much debate with myself (kind of prefer naked), and I actually quite like it in the low position. Its pretty unobtrusive and blocks more wind than I...
If you want to send me one, I'd be happy to provide plenty of thoughts as well as high quality video and audio for all to enjoy. :ohyea:
Isn't worrying about gas mileage on these somewhat an exercise in futility anyway? I mean, everyone rides differently uses different "modes", etc...
Personally, unless 2-up I hit the button for...
Keep in mind that the Ryker has no power assist for steering. Those eggs are gonna break unless you keep a VERY sedate pace...
Agree like any other road worthy vehicle, trail braking is important...
Nice day for a ride today. Hit just under 70 degrees, long overdue.
I decided to install the wind screen. Played with height, I think I prefer it at the lowest position and I'll probably leave it...
I think there's certainly a place for the smaller one. I still haven't opened mine yet as I'm still debating if I even want to put it on, I personally wouldn't have even considered it if it were...
If you haven't poked around, here's a thread I started when I picked mine up. I got the 900, but pretty much sums up my thoughts on the machine.

Not mine, I think its still under development...
I'll be waiting impatiently.
Take my money......

I've never really been a fan of modulars, but I'll admit something like the Shark Evoline looks interesting due to the way it opens. Seems like you could actually really "ride" in either position....
Actually saw one of them in the local shop the other day. Looks really good in person.
Anyone have any favorite helmets when riding your Ryker?
For longer rides, I typically use my HJC RPHA 70 ST (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/hjc-rpha-70-st-grandal-helmet). Great helmet,...
NO... He was recommending filling to 40, rubber mallet to ensure the bead is seated, then reduce back to recommended pressures...
Per the manual:

900 ACE, not Rally, but FWIW I've been able to adjust my rear shock without lifting the bike. Yes, its a little tight, but no issues.. Reached in from the swingarm side.
No, it's true.
I accidentally hit some gravel with my 900 ACE. Front right wheel fell off, rear shock blew, and my warranty expired. Can't imagine what would have happened if I took it on a dirt /...
I would stop by the dealer and ask them to check and potentially re-seat the tire. Be sure to warn them that you put sealer in, and don't be surprised if there is an additional charge... Tire sealer...
Heck yeah, if I lived out there I'd be all over it. But given I'm interested to see what they do I figured I'd selfishly post it in hopes that someone may be able to get them a bike to model. :ohyea:
Hard to say, i'm sure for two fairly light riders, occasional 2-up rides you could probably get away with the stock spring and cranking the pre-load.
I went with it myself since we plan to do a...
So, just to play devil's advocate since I bounced back and forth a lot between the 2...
900 ACE - slightly lower center of gravity, more sport oriented tires stock, and personally much prefer the...
