UPDATE< SORT OF: After I ran out of gas, of course i filled up. That was 92 miles ago and gauge still shows FULL tank. Do have to get it fixed. Thanks for all your advice.

You wont believe this but, I read this thread a few days ago and thought i'd give it a try. The only problem is I remembered it backwards and I used the push method. For me it's working out better...
