Polite way would be 'can't be bothered'
Not the same thing Mike, I keep my Spyder maintained and regularly check brakes, tyres, belt etc. I just can't be arsed worrying about a couple of extra mpg or saving pennies on fuel.
Baz
Is there anyone else like me who doesn't give a monkies about octanes and gas mileage ?
I just fill it up when it needs it and ride on. I don't know my mpg and don't care.
I have tried putting in...
Brilliant, Brilliant post. thanks.
I get exactly the same feeling. 84 years and been on a Spyder for 5 years.
Local speed limit is 50mph and I feel like I am flying. Don't have the same problem in my car.

Has anyone managed to install an audible alarm into the turn signal circuit, 2017 F3T?
If so, instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks Ron, wish I knew earlier. I checked the lamonster site and as I said above AU$69 for postage alone.
Gents, anyone fitted a buzzer/repeater lamp into the flasher cct on an F3T?
Tips on fitting ?
Baz

I would like to fit dimple or Gold plugs to my 2017F3T.
The Lamonster price of around AU$30 is reasonable, but AU$69 for postage !!
Such a small light package surely can't cost that for postage....
Get a stock of good earplugs!
My F3T would cook my right ankle on a longish ride until I replaced cat converter.
My 10 cents worth.
I always used 98 (Australia), sometimes 95, never had a problem.
I decided to go to 91 after reading posts here.
I started to get 'hesitating' and slight surging. I was riding...
Cyprus Greece ?? Since when ?
Local dealer quoted me A$385 to install a new Kenda on the rear.
Took all 3 wheels off myself and took them to Khumo dealer. 3 New tyres fitted all round for total of around A$280 (can't remember...
The cancel is not too good either wearing gloves, left, right, left, right then off. (maybe)
Gents,
I fitted a Mottobatt to my 2017 F3T so that I could use the extra 2 posts to wire accessories. Didn't work out.
I found that when I connected up the main pos and neg on the front posts, and...

Spyder is an F3T 2016. Same situation with the 10mm nuts and front screw has captive nut.
Wow, what a job. Hardest part is probably removing the lower belt guard. Why didn't they use captive nuts!
Removing the pulley nut was ...difficult. I tried using long leverage bars with heat, no...
I check my sprocket on my F3T fairly often and have seen no rust. My mate has just had a bit of a disaster with his front sprocket, same model, so I decided to remove mine to look at it closer. If I...
That's the one! Thanks for that.
Well, it was a thread which had 9 pics showing replacement of front pulley. I didn't actually pin it, I 'thanked' it.
I thought it was a 'how to' thread
I read through and marked the thread on changing the front sprocket this morning.
Came back one hour later to re-read it and cannot find it.
I have gone through all the new posts again and again,...
Thanks for the info. Oil change coming up, I'll try and get gold plugs for the next one.
Getting mixed messages regarding oil drain plugs.
What are the tools required to remove trans and engine drain plugs ?
My F3T would burn my ankle on a longish ride. Cat delete fixed it.

I also use the lid locks. Hard plastic cover, metal plate riveted to the top and hole drilled. Have to redo it every 2 years.
