No panels have to be removed, the 3 bolts ,2 in frame,one in air dam
The one in the air dam has a nut and a e-clip. you have to remove the e-clip to get the nut off,then pull the panel it should...

Guard has 3 bolts very easy to take off,cutting hole very simple,4 pop rivets
I painted the vent with high temp paint
I would say less than 30 mins. total

Yes I think it does help, It has been so Hot here in tennessee heat index has been up to 115 some days! I'll take any kind of relief while riding even if it's very small, never thought I would say...

My thinking This has got be be better than taking the shield off and leaving the motor expose to road hazard, I can see no harm , your oil sending unit is right above this panel ,would not want that...

Best of all Guys The vent was a 16 X 8 aluminum undereave vent, cost $1.97 I just cut it down :clap: Sprayed it black with high temp paint
