sorry I didnt post a conclusion from last year... but to get it working, I ended placing the ballasts in areas where it's not touching the frame and I used a lot of wire loom to keep the wires away...

for my lights to not cause any problems, I ended using different bulbs... and not letting the ballasts and wires not touch any part of the frame... too much electrical interference from the ballasts...

thanks for the replies... I just went ahead and took it out... just dont want to be any problems with it and I want a good outcome with the new DPS and any software upgrades if any is needed... ...
I am having my DPS updated tomorrow, should I remove the JB??? my dealer seems to be anti-JB... or should I just turn it off???

I was having issues with the HIDs from ESI, I have the HIDs for headlight and foglights... I added the ground wire to coil ( I think???), which custom dynamics suggested I do, made sure the ballasts...

Well, my oil level is at the add mark... ill just add the mobile1 4t to get back at the safe level, then just use all synthetic oil at the next oil change... thanks for the info!

Try speedsports in livermore or the other dealersip in Lodi, I stayed away from eastbay motorsports after they wanted to run my credit just to test ride the spyder... real shady sales guy...

You can try sticking the NMN mud flap LEDs on the back rest and connect it to the triple play... you probably need to drill a bunch of holes to get it workin... good luck!:thumbup:
Add the ground wire from the coil to engine, don't let the ballasts touch any part of the frame... keep the wire from the foglights away from the frame... it causes a lot of noise for the spyder...

yah, I asked my dealer if I could watch the mechanic work on my bike for the 600 mile service, and he told me the mechanic doesnt like to be watched while he works on bikes, when all I really wanted...

well I got a second set of ballasts from Custom Dynamics, installed it... and.... same problems... VSS faults, and the stuck accelerator issue... the Spyder just doesnt like a second set of HIDs......
well it didnt work, so out came the HID foglights, back with the stock headlights... now it looks odd, bright white headlights, and stock dim foglights... probably too much draw on the system.... it...
