Hi All,
I belong to the American Legion Riders Chapter 132 Orange,CA. We are a 100% volunteer organization so 100% of funds raised go directly to helping Veterans in need and to struggling local...
Change your relays, they can be found at most auto parts store. Mine did that intermittently. I suggest you change all three relays and carry a spare. I did and to date haven't needed the spare.
...
Spyderpops is a supporting vendor and can be found on the home page.
The heat management system directs the radiator heat out the side instead oetting get blown to rear where your right leg is....
If it was me, 4 inch ESI risers, tall windshield, Honda exhaust gaskets, heat wrap the left pipe and Spyderpops heat management system.
I changed mine at 6K the right one was there but toasted the left one was starting to go away.
It sure is a lot quieter now.
I guess this guy doesn't really like Spyders....
What a dumb article, he should try it before knocking it.
...
Same here, except since I changed relays I never had to use any of the spares yet.:dontknow:
Drive belts were too tight.
Countershaft pulley should be retorqued.
welcome
I seem to remember the early SE models needing an extra ground because of coil noise causing intermittent problems. If there is a loose ground or power wire even, it could cause problems.
One...
Wow, why wouldn't just put a buffing wheel on a bench grinder and apply a little elbow grease? :dontknow:
Just a thought to get what you want.
Costco has the Zumo 550 for $599.00.
Here is a link that should dispell any myths about back bends.

The Zumo 550 XM has no problems for me.
I am interested in the outcome, I was going to get one for my wife.
My license plate is " TRON 59 ".
Tron for obvious reasons and 59 because it's PE #59.
:doorag:
Vest pocket of your jacket.
Works for me.
The problem is the push-to-talk button is made to be handlebar mounted and doesn't work with the SE models. You should be able to use the mounting hardware for a standard J&M CB. A little bit of a...
Ok I have been a skeptic of all the past DPS "fixes" and refused to do them because of many issues the "fix" caused as reported here.
I went as far as change a bad O2 sensor (warranty) on my...

Fuel leak???
I believe it was damage to the leading edge of the wing caused by ice falling off of the main fuel tank during launch. During re-entry was when the...
That's 12 times as slow, they caught him more often. The RS was too fast to catch.:2thumbs:
Try www.jcmotors.com they are about 15% less than she rides. It shows a single set up for the G4 but you can select the dual set in the drop down box.
I am looking at the G4 over the Sena. I ride a KLR650 dualsport and my wife is the Spyder Ryder.
The Sena recommends NOT using it in cold (condensation issues) or dusty areas. That just won't do...

They have a 2 year warranty, so why are you paying for them? I have sent mine back and they sent a replacement the same day they rec'd it.
Great customer service!!!
Everything you say is true. I've been an RF engineer for 30+ years. That said, after I matched my systems and getting poor results I had a 3rd party check it and they said it was matched about as...
The audio system is top notch but the CB has a lot to be desired, it's not very useful at 60 mph and the range is very short. Too expensive for the CB being poor. I have it matched correctly and it...
So did they change the rim and tire combination? Or did they just move the whole wheel assy from one side to the other.
The reason I think Baja Ron is asking is because the tires are directional.
It's more than likely the relay. I had one go out on me. I actually had 4 bad relays in the past 2 years. Not the same location but the same type.
The miles/km's are stored in the cluster but the hours are stored in ECM. So if you replace the cluster the miles will be zero but the hours will be the same.
The clutch uses vacuum assist maybe you can tap into that unless you have done away with it.
Maybe a small electric vacuum pump would work if you can't access any vacuum ports.
