Indeed it does. Personally, I could see myself on the second one!
Have you tried Performnce East in NC? I had called them just before I bought my Spyder used last year. However, he quoted the best prices I had heard. For an additional 300-400, you can hire a...
Last year, I found myself at a very large bike rally at the Ephrata Cloister- There were at least 2000 bikes of all kinds. I cannot remember when it was or even if there will be one this year but I...
I am far from a gearhead- This was easy- The CRC product is a spray powder- The front rotors were easy- I put the SPyder in neutral and used my hand to roll the bike slowly forward at the same time...
Just used CRC Desqueak- Rolls in neutral without a sound. Rode it around and worked the product into the rotors- Smooth as silk for the moment. I also lubed all of the linkage. Time will tell.
I've never seen the backrest in this photo. Anyone know where to get it? Appears to fit in the sport rack. My wife is skittish to ride because she is afraid to fall off. So far, I've just increased...
Hmmm, I have heard that somewhere recently. Any chance the new pad is made by BP?:shemademe_smilie:
Looking at the post, I'm curious as to what I was thinking. What you have is what I used. What I listed doesn't even qualify as thought reversal. I think it is more drug induced:opps:
Just finished all three wheels- 8oz fronts and 13 oz rear. 30 min tops- Wheel weights off. I ran the Spyder about a 1/2 mile after the rear and then after both fronts were completed- I didn't go over...
Did you remove the pads to apply or with everything still on? If while on, do you just spray between the pads and rotors?:helpsmilie:
Indeed! I have a few pics up already in my photos-
What new graphics package? :2thumbs:
Scotty-That switched accessory has a 5 amp fuse in the block- I have my 200w stereo attached to it via a 20 amp relay- However, if I max the volume, it takes out the 5 amp fuse. Any suggestions?
Figured it out- They are stock- Mine were removed when the first graphics went on. I bought mine used. Likely go through dealer- thanks
I am in Lancaster!
Where did you get the front fender reflectors? (or are they additional lighting?)
Looks GREAT 1VENOM!
Goes on easy- a few minor glitches and I agree- Peter was both helpful and supportive.
Takes 13 business days from CA to US- tracking is impossible. Peter has been very helpful. Hoping I get mine today but no way to know...:gaah:
I just ordered the Rain series from ALL Power Sports Graphics. This a fellow from Vancouver who has a large number of graphics packages available for the Spyder.
...
Yep- Used the CRC- Worked fine- time will tell...
Did you ever get a fix for this? I posted the same issue. I am not sure that those who responded understood that this is an issue of a noise that occurs in a particular point in the wheel travel...
Thanks very much to all-
Thank you both- Hey Bean, where did you get the backrest and I am trying to figure out the instrall?
Paint looks great-
I need some help- With the Spyder (SM5) in neutral and the parking brake off (so as to roll the bike forward and back), the rear wheel emits a sound exactly like a whale's mating call. Clearly, it is...
Just be careful- My breaks squealed slightly but I figured, what the heck, new brake pads- Thing has squealed like a stuck pig ever since. I am going to have to take it back to get it checked. It has...
Thank you both- My problem is that I can never tell that the darn fan is on- I can't hear it, see it, whatever. My dealer tells me it works and even recorded the temps where it kicked in and out....
Ok, I'll bite on the newby question- Why does one need to be swapping out these relays?
Son of a *&$%! Scotty- That did the trick! You gotta quit your day job and do this full time! I still think I will look at a relay situation to keep this from happening again though I did crank it...
Thanks Tom for a great fix- I just had the warranty replacement pads put on and damn if the thing didn't then squeal like a stuck pig rolling along WITHOUT applying the break. Figured they were...
the main lead is red and of greater guage than the others- The fuse itself is small, gray, and marked "2"- The wire to hold the settings in memory is yellow. I will try going back to battery to test...
