I'll be sticking with my Garmin 50LM for a good while. Paid for and simple ;)
I love this site. Merry Christmas to all no matter what you, just ride and enjoy :2thumbs:
I crashed my 125cc Sears Cruisaire on the way to junior high in 1957. Still riding today at age 76. Never too old
I find the 1330 engine to be very forgiving but I try to keep the revs over 3000 even when cruising. Love the ride :doorag:
I love happy times
I like it. Been puzzling over what to do about trailering my ride. Thanks for the post.
I'm glad I read this post. I found out that I'm not so strange after all. I usually ride alone since my wife passed away. Unusually get about 16,000 miles a years. Most of my destinations are 500...
I rode my first scooter at age 12 - 125cc Sears Cruisaire. Crashed it and did not ride again until college. Found a 1950 Ariel Square Four. Cobbled it together and rode it through college. Work kept...
I seldom ride below 65 so I don't have that problem. Please forgive me for being my usual smarty pants self :doorag:
I'll put this one down for next year. Sounds like fun :doorag:
Changing the front tires on 2017 RTS made a big difference. Glad I did. Federal Formosas :doorag:
I live in Mississippi so I've ridden it numerous time. Smooth ride, but mind your speed and watch for wildlife. There's a free campground about 40miles North of Jackson, with services. They are near...
Congrats on the new ride! :doorag:
Start riding at 12 on a Sear Cruisaire 125cc. 64 years later still riding usually 16,000 miles per year. 2017 RTS has extended my riding life. Love it :doorag:
Putting 165/55 Federal s on the front sure improved the smoothness and quietness of my 2017 RTS. I have the General Altimax on the rear. Great set up :doorag:
I just put Federal Formosas on the front of my 2017 RTS at 24,000 miles. What a difference. Smoother, more relaxing and quieter ride. With the Altimax on the rear, I'm riding easy :doorag:
Been riding since age 12. When I turned 64, I had difficulty picking up a dropped 800 pound bike so I had a Hannigan conversion kit put on a Venture. Stable yes, but boring to ride. Like riding in a...
I was greatly surprised at the improved handling and ride with the General Altimax. GPS shows a 1 mph difference. Plan to put Federal Formosas on the front. My 2017 RTS now has 24,000+ miles. This...
That's what I like about this site. All the helpful folks :doorag:
I have Frogg Toggs with tan camoflage. Sounds like I better switch :doorag:
I re[laced the stock rear with the General Altimax and realized a tremendous difference. Have 23,000 miles on the front and will replace them with Federal Formosa soon :doorag:
My 2017 RTS fits me perfectly. I like the looks of the F3 but appreciate the storage area of the RT. I tend to take long trips so it's needed. Just enjoy whatever you ride. It's all about the ride...
I put the belt guard on my 2017 RTS after replacing the belt due to a small stone tearing up the belt. Now have 23,000 plus miles with no problem. It is the missing part for the Spyder
Interesting especially the part where BRP continues to innovate and change :2thumbs:
Very clever. I settled for putting Rain X on mine. Works well for me :doorag:
Loosen your grip on the handlebars. I ride with the cruise control on and just lay my hands on the grips. Took me about 1500 miles to get used to the ride. Now I cruise at 70+ :doorag:
Look on it as a painful learning experience. (I hate cliché's) Been down a few times myself :doorag:
You live in my favorite riding areas. Hope to meet you at the Spiders in the Hills in October :doorag:
I vote f0r Frogg Toggs. They pack small and are easy to put on when the rain hits :2thumbs:
