might try using rivets to keep the surface flatter and away from the tires. just my opinion.

3D metal printing is future for custom accessories. ..custom 900 lettering. auxiliary light mounts, etc...hands/talons holding a driving light...limitless.

pretty good design.... might be able to use some viking bags for a softail that I was looking at last night. The bags have no cut out for the shocks so more of a flat backplane.
