Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Stinger trailer they use to haul their Spyder with?
Around here, I can get a regular utility 6x10 trailer for about 3K. The stinger would be...
This is my first year owning a Spyder and live about 1 hour away from Deland.
Plan on riding over there with Ocala Spyder Riding Group.
Thats a 12 year old video.
IF they are still around, bet the price has gone up.
Looks too short and not wide enough for a Spyder....just saying.
I too was not impressed with my 2022 RTL seat. I opted for an Air Hawk pad for a less expensive alternative. Very little air in it but boy, what a difference. :)
I too had an issue with my GPS and it being recognized. It is a 595 though. Turned out the cable I got with it and was using, was a power only cable NOT a data and power cable. Once I got a cable...
Anyone have a lead on a used Stinger trailer for sale in the State of Florida or Southern part of Georgia so I can haul my RTL?
TIA
So what does the plug and play harness actually do? Supply power from Spyder to GPS ONLY? Supply power and audio to Spyder to be able to listen through Spyder speakers?
Am new to the Spyder world.
Have a 2022 RTL.
I don't see many rigs with GPS's or cup holders up front.
Can ya post a picture of where yours is mounted and/or how it is mounted?
I want...
Thanks all for your inputs.....
I just picked up my 2022 Spyder RT Limited last week.
Two things I want to do is: 1: Add wiring for battery tender. 2: Add wiring for heated jacket. I got the battery tender wiring and...
I also have been using Grip Puppies on my last two Goldwings. Waiting on new ones for my new 2022 RTL.
This has been an issue with Goldwing for years until 2018 when they redesigned it.
That extra gear would be nice, but the Engineers that design both the Spyder and Goldwing know what they are...
I was asking of a 2022 time frame or newer year.
I am on the fence on getting a RT Limited or Sea to Sky. Probably will get the limited and keep my Goldwing Trike for longer distances.
Thanks all.
That is one concern down.
Am curious if the heat off the engine hits your legs while on the floorboards to the point of burning?
Anyone?

Why disable the DESS? What are the issues with it?
