Guess that's why while waiting for a bunch of grade school kids to cross, I got 'several' thumbs up and a couple of 3 fingers! Good to see they are growing up right

I agree with you about airflow. I followed this rig for about 10 miles and never saw the cover flapping.
Love the color. (oh yea, same as mine) Can't beat freehand pinstripes. Tastefully done and personal. Won't see another one like it. Hope to make it to Spyderfest. I'll be looking for it
You can't see it in photo, but it looked like there was a ramp crosswise under the front wheels
Saw this behind a motorhome. Back wheel secured in cradle. Fronts strapped down like a car.

Saw this setup behind a motorhome today. Slick idea (I thought)
:congrats: I REALLY like it! I ride a twin. 2014 Cognac Spyder. NOT the other meaning of twin. I have no regrets coming off a Goldwing trike to Spydie.
I had a Honda trike that needed warranty work and had no problems. Any trike trouble should be a seperate warranty by the mfg of the kit. If you have trouble, it would be the dealer. But that is NOT...
Has anyone in the US actually bought 2014 Cognac color paint? I have the PPG number and local PPG paint shops say it's only available in water base. That takes special equipment to spray. I want to...
This is my 3rd one. Morbid? Unique? WTF? They got a LOT of attention and comments. (Mostly positive). My take is it is a large metal box on wheels. Long? Yes. Heavy? No. Less than 200# empty. It will...
Like you I have MANY years on bikes and was impressed with the '14 Spyder to the point of 'it followed me home!' Unlike the tachs of most bikes, I had to look closely to see the outer ring changes...
It was fun and a little challenging. I was disappointed in the views (lack of). I was not out to set any speed records, just enjoy it for what it was. I rode Tuesday and traffic was light. Still a...
Well, I rode the dragon 4 times. Down and back with Mrs. Down and back solo. Yes it is a lot of turns and Spyder gave arms a workout. Did give "Nanny" a workout also. She shut me down at times I...
After reading some MPG reports, I was a little worried about getting a Spyder. BUT, 1st 240 miles I got 39.4. Next 160 miles figured 42.1!!! AND that's playing with it. I mean I 'ride it like I stole...
No matter who you are, THAT's good music!
For me the draw to ride the Dragon is 1-that many turns in such a short ride. Illinois has 11curves in 318 miles. 2-To see firsthand what all the hype is about. I don't believe the Dragon has...
Just got a NEW 14 RT-S (Cognac) SM6 and like it A LOT. She's stock and there won't be enough time to even put a BajaRon bar on before going to the Tail of the Dragon. Any tips for the run, BESIDES be...
Slick job but is your backrest secured to the slide in mount? How?
Yup, I went for a test ride of a RT-S(manual shift) and it followed me home. I was on a Goldwing trike but found the RT 'MUCH' easier to steer, softer ride, and QUICKER! The only thing I found is on...
I just went from a GL 1500 Lehman trike to the 2014 RT-S. Trike had the back axle mounted so you got up/down travel but no sideways. By this I mean if one rear wheel hit something (rock, bump, hole) it...
