I had the same thing happen with groceries. It was packed tight in the bin, and it would not open by just turning the key. Since I was by myself, I had to do some acrobatics. I pushed the lid down...
That's great! My last long ride was Coach Kill's Ride for the Fund poker run. It was hot, but for a great cause. If my schedule allows, I would love to meet up with fellow ryders in the area.

Is it safe to assume that the stock bolts for the passenger grips can be reused to install these?

I'd like to see this too. I installed an auxiliary power outlet under the passenger seat, but am curious on the USB install on the side. I found the accessory wire at the side panel, but it seems...
