    600 or 900

I've never owned obviously a 600, 900, or 1330cc. But it has been my privilege to own (and still do), a 998cc. it may get to the point, where i'll have the 2012 Can Am Spyder RT-SE5 so decked out...

    Helmet Choices

A stepson of mine was riding his Yamaha 800 from his home in Hemet to his place of work in Riverside. He was clipped by what turned out to be a driver without a license, or insurance. Thrown about 30...

    Shaft Drive?

I don't think there's anything wrong with an Aramid belt drive. Harley Davidson has had them for awhile now. They're quiet, never needs lubrication, and are less costly to replace than a shaft drive....
  5. New Spyder Purchase

Did you stop in with the wife? :-) Or did you ryde home, and surprise her? Some wives are not overly impressed with large, unannounced purchases. And some are completely amenable, happy, and...

Many years ago, I joined the Cub Scouts, which was followed by the Webelos, the Boy Scouts, and finally, the Explorers. It was an all male fraternity of sorts which has done just fine, up until now....

    The Wave

I have a 2012 Can Am Spyder RT-S. And in the past, five Gold Wings, and three Harleys. But I don't feel any less "cool" on a Spyder if there was ever a need to feel cool or macho. I might feel more...

    Octane Used or Preferred

I believe the owner's manual calls for 87 octane as a minimum, and 91 octane recommended inside North America. I have to wonder what BRP would say about using non ethanol fuel?
  10. Nothing Like an Old Bike

I've enclosed a jpeg here of an older bike. I've had two of these, and as unsophisticated as they were, I'd surely take another one. They vibrated parts off, leaked oil, and easily overran the...

    Over pricing?

Over pricing? Just a bit. I think someone, unintentionally added a "0" to the sale price. Even without the "0", I still think it's a little too costly.

I have a 2012 Can Am Spyder RT-SE5. It came with the standard halogen light bulbs, but I replaced them with LED bulbs. Made a world of difference.

  20. What Don't I Like About The Spyder
