Just had my rear tire replaced at 6400 miles. I purchased bike new one year ago. Cant honestly say that I have done no burnouts! Haha! I probably had 1000 miles left on it put didn't want to change...
Very interesting concept. I can't see that you'll be any worse off staying with the bike. Like you state "most of us are to old to fly without a parachute"!
My fuel consumption greatly varies and seems dependent on my riding style as you would expect. I've gotten as low as 30 and as high as 40 mpg. The lower mileage is when I'm on the throttle a lot or...
Good luck!
I've been very surprised with the gas mileage on my 2104 RS and have gotten 30-32 a few times but usually 34-36 with one 40- mpg. The lower mpg is with interstate riding in hot weather. I use...
Amen to that!!
Love this post!! Love my Spyder also!!
Looks very good!
I guess this is common?
I'll bet that with a little practice you'll get along fine.
That is an amazing video. It just strengthens my feeling about not getting in the ocean.
I'm constantly looking for a place to go should an emergency occur. You know this is not always possible. At times there is just simply not a space or if you leave space in front of you someone cuts...
This is so sad. It's been a bad week or so for SpyderLovers. Lets all be extra careful please.
Mine does it, I've read somewhere that maybe full synthetic oil helps and will consider that at next service. Guess the clunk is normal but if I could change one thing about my Spyder it would be...
Love my 2014 RS sm5.
Good luck, hope it can be repaired very quickly!
Over 4000 miles on my OEM 2014 RS and the tire looks almost new. Run 28 pounds tire pressure and don't do many burnouts:)
Hit in the rear I'd think you'd not have much of a chance even if at very low speed. My condolences to all involved.
Hope you have as much fun as I am! I'm a Spyder owner only since February. Congratulations and enjoy:)
we'll see? I still doubt that it will happen, not for $6800 anyway.
I recently rode to south Texas and the best advice I received on taking a long trip was to stay hydrated. Because of the advise I installed a drink holder on my Spyder and kept a cooler in the...
Here is one example of what I am talking about and expect to receive more attention in the future. We all know that many prescribed drugs cause significant side affects such as impaired judgment and...
Yes I believe it to be illegal in most if not all states. I also believe it to be considered much more accepted by society and much less often assessed for by police and more difficult to detect. I...
If I understand correctly that is what these people were doing, "praying". These senseless and seemingly unstoppable mass killings in a church, in schools, in public restaurants, etc. Places we have...
4228 miles on my RS since February which is the most I've put on any bike in this short of time. Side note; I have a friend that has put over 200,000 on his last two Goldwing's.
I love my...
Sounds like a great trip. Are you planning to take another trip?
No I'm not. Guess I'm just not aware of the benefits.
What a great post! I love this discussion.
My 2 cents worth to all the impairment concerned people, read your prescription drug information before you get to harsh on someone for drinking 1 or 2...
Welcome!
Awesome beard by the way:)
